Whatever happened to slim pillars and low cowls? Designers show you windows with almost 50% of the area around the edge blacked out, especially in the rear, huge thick C pillars. Check out the rear side glass on a Mini for example. At one time Volvo advertised pillars narrower than the distance between your eyes so you could see around them. No possibility or resting your elbow out the window with modern cars. High dashes and invisible front ends are the norm.
Slim is not in, and it's gotta' have exaggerated front fender arches too. Even hatches are trying to make a highline comback, even Honda, scarey.....
