we leased a 2009 that they were dealing like crazy for at one dealer; interesting because hardly any dealing at the dealer closer to home. she absolutely loves it; base model is well equipped, but i think she will miss no ventilated seats come summer in houston, only the higher end versions have that. It is quick and easy to handle, although a little fidgety at low speed, it smooths out on the open road. Closest to the comfort i feel in the SAAB seats. now the bad news: I heard that jaguar reliability tanked after this model. it has been in the shop three times in first 2 months for CEL, radio, fuel filler cap and the service department was abysmal, although they did meet me and called me by my first name. what I am really struck by is the public reaction, someone asks about it wherever she goes. it is actually less expensive comparably equipped than say a MB E class, but it seems so extravagant. maybe because everyone knows it will be in the shop a lot. I will wait to see what SAAB does, but I may be ready for the mid cycle refresher if they work out the repair issues and no new SAAB models. Did you see the new XJ? Same basic look as the XF and really knocks your socks off.
