Availability of charging stations? GM is campaigning hard to install solar charging stations anywhere a commercial property owner is interested as part of their Volt promotion. My youngest son's apartment complex in New Haven CT has two electric vehicle charging stalls in the parking garage, my oldest son's complex in DC has none.
Availability of charging stations and your planned use of the vehicle should both have significance in yuor decision.
I am also leery of the Tesla's use of laptop batteries (their words not mine) to power their vehicle, but that is my issue and maybe not yours.
