the car was a 2000 w/ about 35k and I did it last yr.
the wrecked that one and his 02 needed brakes - but he's getting the dealer to do them because he's chicken that the master will blow out again.
I told him to have the fluid changed while he was at it.
I don't see any comments as to how I could have hurt the master...
I never let the peddal go to the floor.
With the ABS cars - you should pump the brakes 10-20 times to relieve the pressure. W/ the car off - just hit em a few times.
I am 90% sure I didn't let an air bubble in when I closed the bleeder and released the clamp.
Then I ran a bunch of fluid through the system, so any bubble should have been gone anyway.
You could stop the car, but it wasn't pleasant. They flet like VW brakes w/ 2x the movement and you could put it pretty close to the floor. Dealer did a new one under warranty.
I was just making sure I didn't do it again....
