I have the rear shock tower brace from Saab Savior. After installing it the first time (you gotta love multiple installations) this brace and bracket assembly squeaked incessantly which was no doubt due to the fact that the top of the bracket is held in place by a single bushing. I literally ripped it out the very first day and much to my chagrin the bracket caused squeaks without the bar. Reconciling this necessitated Tig welding the bracket into place to completely stabilize it. A further modification was adding custom made (special thanks to Damien S.) washers for each side of the bar (as seen at the bottom of the pic) that would create an equidistance between the open ends of the brackets.
The brace does indeed provide a very noticeable improvement in the tightness and rigidity of the car and, to Dean's point, I had already addressed the 'greater evils' associate with the suspension. My chief complaint, however, is that it was obviously not as plug-and-play as advertised unless, of course, you have a better stereo system than mine and can drown out the squeaks when installed as orginally specified.
