Bill,
Give me you fax number and I will fax all three spec sheets.
Based on the specs, your kidneys won't be shaking....as my V-8 tells me after looking at the specs. I trust him implicitly because he knows his stuff. I'm almost positive on the cam grind numbers: SA6000 vs. SAT 6600. I know for a fact that the designation has "6600" in it because that is the projected redline.
Call Reeds and tell them that the guy with the Saab that came in with the cams referred you....they should remember. Ask for the manager. They should be willing to do the cams. If not, try Comp Cams or Crower. With the spec sheets, they can regrind to those specs, but try Reeds first.
Heavy duty springs and retainers should be installed. I don't know if springs can be removed with head on block. Even if it has to come off, take the head and have it trued, ported/polished, 3 angle valve cut and port matched with manifolds. Not cheap, but why go to a somewhat more agreesive cam and not do the right things to the head to take advantage of the cams?? Just a suggestion.
Send me a fax number, or call me at 256-235-1973 (w) and give it to me. I'll send right out.
Shaun
