the first mod i ever did to my car was the SAS sway bars, and there a great starting point,, bilstien HDs are winners,, my car had GR-2s on it before,, and there is simply no comparison, The HDs own.
i also have BG springs,, i cant say i researched them,, i got them used for very little money,, and i am very impressed with them,, they only lowered my 1992 turbo about 1in front, .5in rear,, the intrax lower the car more than this,, which was not something i wanted to do
i ended up making my own front strut brace (didnt like how a piece of meatle cost 150+ dollars) this was the last thing i did on my suspencion,, and i think it was well worth the 7 dollers i put into it. it took all the rattles out of my dash, the car feels much more at home on the hwy, its amazing what a piece of angle iron can do
at the end of the day though, my car is not "harsh" to be in, it does not sit overly low, and is still a joy after 8 hours of driving, i belive this to be because i still keep a stock wheel and tire package/size on my car.
but,, its differnt strokes for differnt folks
