If u put lowering springs on then it may rub even worse. What 16's are you running? I ran aero 16's on my 88 spg w\intrax springs and they rubbed just a tad in the rear. So I rolled the rear fender which was fun and it worked almost perfect. Brad I think still makes am axle relocation kit that you can install
