Yeah - I ran my 5-door for a couple years on Volvo stuff. The larger factory injectors and properly calibrated AMM were a big lure there. These days, you get better results from Jak...
In this application, the goal is to get the nasty vane-type airflow meter out of the intake tract. It's a big obstruction, and as they age and die it's increasingly expensive to replace them. A hotwire system makes sense in a lot of ways, and since the 140hp 2.0l DOHC Saab engine is materially similar to the 2.0l DOHC Alfa engine, it seems like a good match. Plus, the Alfas came with Bosch L-Jet, and Saabs have discrete wiring harnesses... :)
