That's definitely something you would *not* want to do. Bosch's term for what feeds the injectors is "line pressure". The warmup regulator does not control this pressure, but rather another called "control pressure". Increasing control pressure makes the mixture leaner which of course is the last thing you want under boost.
You really need to read up and understand the CIS system. The fuel distributor doesn't really regulate fueling by pressure but by flow. As long as there's enough line pressure to open the fuel injectors against the pressure in the manifold, it'll work. Another possible limitation is maxing out the fuel distributor but I've never had that happen.
What you need to do for high boost is increase line pressure, but you don't have to do anything fancy. If you unscrew the line pressure regulator from the fuel distributor you'll find shims under the spring, just add a little (maybe 0.050") to increase the pressure.
Bear in mind of course this will increase pressure in the entire system (and it's already pretty high - 70-80 PSI). So make sure your fuel lines and connections are in good shape, and watch out if your pump's old because you're making it work harder.
