When purchasing aftermarket ECU tunes there is always a clause that "...Before you put this in your car, it must be in tippy-top-super-happy-perfecto condition, or else it will destroy your shit."

Then there is usually a clause that says that: "Damage incurred through the use of this product is solely up to the purchaser to deal with."

Same as when you get your car dyno'd you sign a waiver that says that "If your car flies off the rollers and goes through our wall, it's not our fault, and you're relinquishing the right to sue us."

I have seen no such multiple posts of any one tuner's software being the cause of any products, and I know for a fact that none of them would simply turn their backs, but would be firm in their response that damage incurred while using my product is your responsibility.

Everyone knows that running higher than stock output produces faster wear and greater stress in the components, and damage is more likely to be serious with increased output if an injector clogs, or oil pressure is a little low, or anything like that.

Could you kindly refer us to the posts you are referring to, and let me see from myself that these expert people posting had their cars in absolutely perfect running order and followed all the bits of advice the tuner suggested?

I also try to keep in mind that everyone is human, and mistakes can happen, and if that's the case you're right that customer service would be poor if the tuner ignored that possibility then there's a problem, but I don't think that's the case.

I am aware of some claims by a certain banned individual who lives in Arizona that Jak's LH2.4 and 2.4.2 chips have idling problems due to possibly corrupt code, but that is also one individual's oppinion. He also is claiming to be a direct competitor of Jak's, but I know who I would rather deal with and help sort out a problem with. And that person lives in North Carolina.

Best,
Drew
