I have the PS2s on my Viggen for a couple of summers now and love them. Great handling tire (much better than the previous Goodyear F1s), quiet, amazing in wet and tons of traction. Best tire I've owned to date. Only thing I don't like is that they look a it skinny in width. But then again, I didn't realize that tires could affect handle so differently. The PS2s are not harsh riding yet very direct and I've yet to experience tramlining, which the F1 did so very well! They also provide amazing traction for the Stage 4 Nordic tune.
My friend has the Toyo TR1s on his Aero wagon and loves them. He doesn't drive bery aggressively and I haven't driven his car so I can't say too much, but he liked them so much he bought them again.
I'm not too worried about tire wear as I think that's one way tires work...like an erasure, they have to wear some to provide friction for traction. I'd be more concerned about performance and noise. I've heard some tires that are so loud you can't talk in the car at highway speeds.
Best of luck....and please let us know what you decide and they perform.
