Is there a reason you want to run the same tires on the track and on the street? IN my experience on the track, tires are what you will run through faster than anything. A good day at the track could really burn through a 400 dollar set of tires. I'm in the process of getting 4 r compounds used from a mazda spec guy who has way too much money and run 1-2 heat cycles on them and then throws new ones on. There is plenty of wear left for the amateur like myself and for the fifty dollars he is charging me it is better then balding my Yoko S-Drives to bits(great tires too, quick response and hold the road). I found an extra set of rims on craigslist for 40 bucks( your local junk yard may have some too for under $100). IMO this might be something to think about as you have dedicated track tires. You don't even need R compounds on the second set. Just I thought and made sense to me.
