What wasn't covered in this thread unless I just missed it is that slotted rotors keep the pads fresh because the slots (as long as they're not chamfered) prevent the pads from glazing. Also never use a slotted rotor where the slots have been machined too far out which would seriously weaken the rotor! The slots don't have to be milled in very deep, just enough for them to do their job. My Saab's have Brembo's by KVR in Canada and I haven't experienced any premature wear from the slots keeping the pads from glazing! Dave at SPG9 Custom Turbo's
