If YOU bothered to read carefully, I suggested a C900 on the 8th. He mentioned needing an auto on the 11th.
C900 trannies may be the first to fail on an otherwise very well engineered car, but that does not mean they are "fragile". As GM said, he hit the limit at or before TWICE the output what they were originally designed for. Would you have said it if you never read it on the internet, probably posted by someone like yourself?
It's people propagating misinformation they have little or no first-hand understanding of--that is what gets me. The added bravado of saying you killed a box in two weeks as some sort of testament is just funny.
All I'm saying is is before you (and not just you) spout off something you read on the internet like your an expert, think hard, if you know what your talking about and have something constructive to add to the conversation, or you just want to (see) hear yourself speak. I bet it would save us all a bunch of reading.
