Yes I might give this a shot. I saw some where that someone had done this. I think on one of the UK saab sites. There could be a lot of issues of fitting. THere is not a lot of room where the manifold goes on a saab.

I think removing the stock radiator fan and shroud will give you a lot more room. I plan to go to a custom radiator. I find that the stock one cannot handle 100F with AC going up long grades. I live in Lake tahoe area a lot of the year and I want to bust up I80 at 100MPH some days and not worry about over heating. I saw 235F+ last year and had to back out or turn off the ac. now with my stage 6 320FWHP it will only get worse. Plus more room for the holset if you go with lower profile fan
