Saying goodby to a great car

I have posted a number of times on this board over the years about my 97 9000 aero, and now I have one final post to make about this great car.
I bought it in '99, when it had less than 20,000 miles. By 45,000 I had done a Maptun stage 3 upgrade, and the car spent the rest of it's life happily delivering all that a stage 3 car can offer.
Over the years, I have gotten the car off the ground a few times, launching off a roll on a lightly traveled county road in NW Wisconsin (it is as fun as it sounds). I have seen redline more than a few times (150+) on the roads around western North Dakota and eastern Montana (stable and inspiring). Was able to get the wheels to break loose at 90 in 3rd gear, and all the while knowing I could go to the lumber yard and put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.
This car was sooooo strong, and so much fun to drive, especially when the roads were clear of traffic, and the sight lines allowed.
But, last night the head gasket blew, taking the radiator with it, and at this point, with 180,000 on the clock, some rust and general wear of a 15 year old car, I am not going to fix it.
Just wanted to share about a great car, knowing that many of you will appreciate how wonderful our cars are, and that this particular saab delivered more than most cars could. Sorry to see it go, but that is the way it is.
