It's good to know that Magnaflow is still a popular muffler!
My car is mostly stock. When I went fpt I used an ECU from a '96 CSE. I converted to a T7 BPC with an add-on product developed by BobS. I snipped the orange wire to pin #14 of the ECU, so the ECU thinks the transmission is manual. I installed a VDO vacuum/boost gauge in the analog clock position so I know what's going on. That's about it, and the turbo is a stock T25. The engine pulls about as strong as a stock '96 CSE with a manual transmission (200hp, 238 ft. lb. torque).
The cooling system is in good shape. Air intake is stock with a Mann filter. The turbo has been lubricated with 5w40 synthetic (Rotella) for the past 80,000 miles or so and seems to like it. I don't know how long the T25 will last. I should be comparing what I would get when upgrading to a T28 vs. TD04HL, so I'll be ready when the T25 dies. I usually don't replace stuff that's working.
