I've sourced a different shurflo pump that might be better suited for h2o inj apps but it's a special order item and I haven't received it yet. I'm not going to say anything until I setup the system and test it.
You're right about the switch being primitive. It actually uses the same style switch that is used on the older c900's for a/c wot and behind the dash for fan control on the vac distrib. You might be able to narrow the variable pressure by reducing the gap between the switch head and diaphram compression arm.
The nozzle should flow the same on any pump as long as the pressure is the same. The shurflo oscillates, it just uses 3 diaphrams to oscillate. Shouldn't make a difference as long as the pressure is constant. Interesting, maybe Brad has an answer to why the nozzle is flowing twice its volume.
I'm not sure about nozzle sizing, haven't gotten there yet. From reading and theories, I've calculated 250-300cc/min is around the range for (4) 24lb/hr injectors at max duty cycle (h2o being 25% of the total weight of the mixture). Brad would be the one to ask about this though. He has stated that each car is different.
