My recommendation to you would be to replace the dunlaps with

BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S-02 POLE POSITION 215/45 ZR17

After driving my 99' Viggen for 19k miles and with a trip to Atlanta planned for last weekend, I decided to replace the Dunlaps with the Bridgestones. After driving to Atlanta on Friday 2/23 and returning on Sunday 2/25 approximately 1,100 mile round trip, the tires transformed the Viggen from a skiddish Jerk to a smooth straight line sprinter.

The tires handled the Viggen's power in all gears, 1st thru 5th without one jerk to either side. It is to bad that Saab did not investigate other
tires before putting the Dunlaps on the Viggen.

Tire Rack has the Bridgestone's priced at $170 each. The local dealer wanted $266 each but they would be a special order and they could not give an exact date when they would arrive. I ordered the tires on Sunday 2/18 from TIRE RACK and they arrived via Fedx on Wed 2/21.

I had seriously thought of having the Rescue Pack installed, but with how the Viggen performs now I may not have it done.
