No compromise in materals....Did KIC really design and test this unit or just take it somewhere and have it copied? The latter is what I expect. The design of this clamp is fun and hopefully rewarding. It's made of solid metal which is stronger then the Abbott or the KIC(rip off Abbott design). I have put more time and energy into this design then KIC ever has. It is foolish of you to believe that they tested their unit to the degree that I'm doing. They haven't had an orginal thought yet so why would they start now.
I've designed this clamp to be made and used for some of use who don't want to spend the big bucks that the Abbott design is costing them. Tell me am I wasting my time and money? or do you guys not want the same performance for less?
In terms of doing something better with my time mybe in the end selling some of these will allow me to put on a big brake kit myself. I figure this is what has happened for KIC and Abbott. Lets think $50-70 worth or metal for $400 or $600 if they sell less ten 5 of them then they just bought your brake kit.
I just can't believe someone would tell me this is a waste of time!
