That's hard to believe. The mounts have to take all kinds of abuse, like spinning a wheel on a patch of ice then hitting traction again under heavy throttle. Dropping the clutch during a high RPM launch. Rough roads. Any of these can jerk the heck out of the mounts and they had better take it. More likely the 'by wire' throttle is tuned to transition slowly to avoid pollution issues during sudden changes in power requests.
