it was odd that the misfire was putting out unburnt fuel making the exhaust richer & that when we fixed the miss that the data was leaner because the car was running on all 4 solidly under a load it was burning all the fuel so it was way leaner at the pipe after the repairs
it was also pretty heavy to find out that because snipes head is a stock head that the AMM readings were lower which using the main part throttle fuel map in my car made his lean so he is actualy running a 3barfpr & a stock volvo ECU & although it could be improved a little the AFs are verry stable & totaly usable & safe :-) thruout the RPM/load range part of how I ruled out problems with his car causing the lean condition with my map was a full load FP test & swapping AMMs but changing the map on the fly with my laptop helped confirm the fact being that his lower AMM readings just dident push far enough up on the load axis to get the injectors open more I could have custom writen him a map but the stock ECU workes pretty damm well so it saved me time & him $$
this confirms even more the one size fits all chip theory of mine that an acurate chip canot be written remoteley with out logged data on the car its written for
than we played with the timing & his throttle switch had a bad conection & the knock sensor was bad (over sensative) so we changed that & upped the K setting in the APC & viola way more stable boost
it was a long weekend but it came in running ok at best & left a friggin animal
:-)
take care
