Solo II racing; How to get started?

Ok, so I went to the VFA last month and now the roads seem a little to straight and packed with to much traffic. So now I'm dreaming of racing some more... I've searched the web and ran across the SCCA and read about Solo II racing. Sounds fun! I also ran across my region's (Colorado)web page and noticed their season starts at the end of this month. Now for some questions I've been wondering about...
What category would a '00 Viggen 5-dr be running?
Does anyone know if it necessary to take the "Novice Driving School" to be allowed to compete in the other events?
What other types of cars will I be competing against?
By competing, will I be in violation of my Saab lease arrangement ;-)?
Are the stock Dunlop tires good enough?
Should I get a special alignment?
What can I expect?
Any other modifications anyone would recommend?
Anyone already doing this in the Denver area I might hook up with?
Am I crazy by risking getting sucked into an expensive hobby?
Thanks,
Chris Fisher
