The new-age impreza may suffer on certain aesthetic issues like ovoids combined w/ rectilinear styling(bugeyes 'n boxes),but the car is indeed a quality piece of kit...the rest of the civilised world already knows its a jr. supercar & hero for affordable performance-i'm very happy Subaru finally let us have the real deal...the chassis rigidity is up 250% overall from old model(thus no sunroof) & the engineering is well executed-the advantages of a lowmounted boxer combined w/ AWD cannot be argued with...hopefully the STi version will hit our shores,or better yet the STi RA(Racing Altered-windupwindows,no a/c,rallystyle roofvent plus all regular STi mods)...Subaru stepped in where the UR Audi Quattro left off & created a whole new market,Saab is nothing more than a knock off of DKW,no wait Opel, nono BMW poser?hahahehe, just kiddin'-maybe Michael Mauer can pull off an "Audi" and bring Saab back to their eccentric niche glory!
new age WRX STi-much more than a fine econobox!
