I could have used one this weekend (and most of my trip was on 81 north through VA). I had three cops pull out behind me (2 sitting in those "Authorized Use Only" spaces in the middle of the highway, and one who came across the grass median behind me) Thank God they were ALL going after other people!

I have often considered buying the K40, though they are pricey ($400+) Sadly, most radar detectors just give you a warning that you are about to get a ticket.

K40s are sold at Porsche dealerships. They are "invisible" by being mounted in your dash gauge cluster. Two l-e-d lights are located between your tach and turbo gauge (on opposite sides of the speedo! duh)

The best part: they guarantee you won't get a ticket using their product. If you do, they pay the ticket and your insurance premium increase for 2 years! Contact Performance Porsche in Chapel Hill/Durham, NC. They used to have a display on the parts counter for these (where I spent way too much time and money to fix my old Porsche. No more!)
