Well, I just got home from a weekend at Putnam Park, my annual birthday present to myself :)

Last week I had a camera bar made & we changed all the fluids so everything was a go

my 1st session on Saturday I do 2 laps & a IC boot blows on me. Messed with it for the rest of the day trying to track down a 2.5 in 90 degree IC hose, ZERO luck! After driving 100+ miles around Indianapolis & 1 shop suggested NAPA which was their distribution center & they had a radiator pipe I could use.

I spent the first few hrs this AM getting the car to run w/o blowing a boot of. I ended up having to cut the IC pipe (turbo to IC) & use some extra rad hose to allow the pipe to fit w/o blowing of. !#$K I tell ya!!

So after lunch I go out again & the car was running GREAT! The boots were still leaking thus I was at probably 60% HP (barely pull EVO8's & STI's) & I was having a AWESOME time! Then at the 29.5 minute mark of the 30 minute session a friend waived me by (he's in a highly modded 914) due to him cooling his car off & as I powered out of a turn it all went dead. I killed the Jorgen Eriksson trans which has maybe 2500 miles on it!

So now I don't know what to do! The car is a blast to drive, handles extremely well however there's the trans issues we all know about.

So should I
-throw in a Scanwest trans?
-modify car to fit a trans from a different car?
-put the engine somewhere else in the car?
-part the car out?
-sell the car

it makes about 330 whp & I do not know what let go in the trans.

They threw me in the A group which was VERY interesting, this is what I ran with :)

STi
EVO8
modded 3rd gen RX7
3 modded ZO6's
911 GT-3
911 GT-2 with 740 hp!! HOLY CRAP was he FAST!!
a few E36 M3's
1 other FWD integra type R which I never say
lotus esprite V8

this was by far the fastest group I have ever been thrown in with, just wish I could of played a little more :(
