Could be either trans (clutch shaft seal?) or engine rear main seal?
If this is on a Sonett, you have to pull the engine to fix either one.
You could put a fluorescent dye in one of the oils, If it shows up in the leakage that is what is leaking, if not, the other one is. Of course both could be leaking <g> Should be able to see with engine out & flywheel off.
A slow leak/seepage can be lived with for a long time if you check oil levels often. Clean engine bay, and put one of the absorbent pads under area. You can get these at most auto parts stores these days. May have to buy a large piece or roll and cut to size.
I have a slow leak in my classic 900 for 5 years now, I wash engine area at quarter car wash once a month or so, and check trans & engine oil before and after each long trip, or monthly which ever comes first. Usually takes 1/2 quart in trans.
Good luck, RGS
