After reading all your stuff,
If the accel pump is squirting gas, it should start if it has compression and spark.
I wonder if it could be weak or no spark when hot?
The resistor in the rotor has been known to burn out & open when hot.
If you have a resistor on the coil, this could also cause low voltage, esp when cranking when hot.
Plug wires have been known to fail when hot also. esp. carbon core ones.
So what I am trying to say, is check for spark when it won't start.
Good luck, RGS in Da'Burgh, Pa. USA
