I needed weatherstripping for all openings on my 72. bought a couple online that I thought would work but they did not. I finally peeled off the bulb part of the old from the pinchweld molding. Went to auto Zone purchased the 7/16 stick on weatherstripping and used that on the original pinchweld molding.. I wiped it down with some lacquer thinner before applying. It works perfect, not original but worked on all openings. Used some weatherstrip glue if it came loose but only on a small portion of it. I closed all openings after installing overnight and havent had any issues. Only thing is it only comes in 8 ft rolls so I have a joint on the doors and hatch cover. Spent less than a $100
