I've gotten PART way through this.
You've got to remove the output shafts, which you can do by slipping a pry bar behind the inner universal joint cup and giving it a sharp smack. Make sure you're pressing against the cast inner part of the cup and not the sheet-metal outer part. The shafts are held internally by a snap ring and will snap out. Easy, once you work up the nerve to hit it hard enough.
Then in theory you just remove the bolts that secure the bell housing, turn the clutch shaft until you find the position that lets the two pieces slide apart, and separate them. In practice you've got to be careful that the shaft doesn't hang up on the freewheel hub and pull its guts out. I got scared at this point and decided to put mine back together!
