There was a long discussion on VSAAB a while back about the use of the tuck bed liner stuff. I think the final conclusion was that the liner stuff has a tendency to seperate from the metal leaving a gap that water can get back in. So I would stay clear of that.
Last summer I COMPLETELY stripped my sonett down to the frame, welded in new rockers (inner and outer), and a new front floor pan. After the many hours and way too much $$$$ I wanted to seal it up for good!
I strongly recommend the Corolless and AntiRust products that Eastwood has.
http://www.eastwoodco.com
I sprayed 2 quarts of the AntiRust inside the rocker panels (probably overkill, but I hear that the rockers like to rust from the inside out). Also, I sprayed a couple of quarts of Corrolless paint pretty much all over every bit of exposed metal as well.
I sprayed a few quarts of the Rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the floorpan.
One thing I've noticed, is that PREPPING the metal is critical! Some of the Corolless has since peeled off, and I think it is because the metal was not cleaned properly. If I did it again I would use Eastwoods PrePainting Prep, followed by their etching primer. I would use the corolless anywhere you have light rust, since that's really what it is for.
