copper head gaskets

Some years ago I bought a set of Chip Lamb's copper head gaskets as one of the components for a hipo engine I want to build. Using these gastkets in conjuction with the set of 93mm pistons I bought would be very handy; no need for O-ringing the block: just having them bored together with the block to the correct diameter and be happy for life. However, there is one issue that keeps bugging me: the sealing. When I read the threads on the Performance BB the consensus is that copper head gaskets are hard to seal properly. On the other hand I saw that the Swedish Saabclub now offers copper head gaskets for stroker engines. Right now I am in doubt about using them, so time to call for experiences. Has anybody here used Chip's head gaskets and what is the verdict? What was used to seal them off properly? Chip wrote about some brands that sell sealants in aerosols, but being in Europe make it a bit difficult to get it.
TIA,
Alex
