- 1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 3/19/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 285,000 Price: $1200 Firm
High mileage but extremely well cared for 3 door turbo. My daily driver for last 15 years, but I finally need an automatic transmission, so here we are. Lots of new and upgraded parts, including bright Euro headlights, newer dash with no cracks, new headliner, A/C is cold with updated refrigerant, added powered sub-woofer in trunk. Overall very well maintained.
Issues on horizon include clutch - amazingly enough, this is the original clutch. Really. Also, leather interior is well worn, and driver's side seat has tear in leather near front of cushion. So that might need attention. Also, central vacuum locking just quit last week. I have had this repair done awhile ago, and it is not too expensive with used parts.
Other miscellaneous notes are that SRS light is on, due to worn contact. I tried to get that replaced, but local shop said parts are no longer available. You might have better luck. Ignition was replaced, so the car now has 2 keys, one for doors and one for ignition.
Price is set well below real value, so I have already done the negotiation process for you. Price is firm, and is a virtual steal.

- 1987 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 3/6/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 186,000 Price: $3,800
My Dad and I are the second owners of this SAAB having originally bought it in 1990. It's been garaged its entire life, is rust free, professionally maintained with a rebuilt transmission in 2006, Head Gasket in 2011 and new turbo in 2012. The car has an amazing top of the line sound system that presents crystal clear sound while cruising down the freeway at 75 mph. Heater control and A/C does not work. Fortunately when temperature control valve got stuck, it got stuck on full heat. When it's cold I put the fan on and there is plenty of heat on tap. When it's nice out top is down and breeze keeps me cool. Heated seats also do not work and will likely need a catalytic converter if registered in California. For more info:

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 112K Price: $9995
Being a Saab Master tech since 1998. I knew this limited edition, last year of the SPGs, was a special car. It needed a 1st gear syncro, and having specialized in 5-speed rebuilding, this transmission got the full treatment. The engine was also re-sealed, new head gasket, etc., upgraded stereo, cd player w/equilizer, all Saab. 150 watts. All original body, never been hit. No dents, rust. Heated seats. Very clean. A few scratches. Bought it for a Sunday driver, only put 2000 miles on it in 10 years. Needs a fresh tank of gas.

1986 SPG in very good condition. Drives wonderfully, strong engine and turbo,

very slight weeping from the valve cover gasket. 3 owner car: 1st owner – 28

owner for the last almost 4 years/approx. 10,000 miles in California. No rust.

Transmission is original. 1st gear synchronizer is weak but otherwise shifts well, stays in gear, no whine. Driver's seat back has tear in leather; otherwise in decent shape. Paint is showing its age on hood. AC needs work. Windshield is cracked. Headliner (replaced) is in good shape. Dash has cracks (of course...).

Nice driving example of a California C900. This car was very refurbished for a my son. It's only been driven 1,000 miles in the last 10 years. Family changes precluded a manual transmission car. Upgrades include: SPG springs, Bilsteins, reinforced lower control arms, Saab muffler, 6" wide 9000 wheels, leather steering wheel, Dynamat on the floor, wired for rear amp, headliner. Recent maintenance of: head gasket, engine seals, radiator, water pump, low miles steering rack, black PS reservoir, and about 50 other things. Cruise works. Cons: AC was cold last year-not now. No radio. Text for more photos.

We will spend hundreds to thousands of dollars to bring our Saab's up to "Saab Certified" standards, only using Saab genuine parts (which come with a LIFETIME warranty) We want to keep Saabs on the road - Why? Because being one of the only OSC's (Official Service Centers) for Saab in Oregon ~ it is our Livelihood! Since the last Saab produced for the U.S. was in 2011, Kelley Blue Book no longer receives updated "values" from the manufacturer so they have no idea what the true value of this brand is. - 1987 Saab 900S Hatchback (Posted 1/23/2018) SOLD
Color: Rose Quartz Trans: Manual Mileage: 86,200 Price: $4,750
THIS ONE OWNER BEAUTY IS AWESOME! The car was purchased by my wife in September of 1987 and is all ORIGINAL! It has been meticulously maintained over its life (we have many receipts) and runs like a top!! The odometer was replaced under warranty at 20,320 miles. New odometer currently shows 65,878. Totals 86,198 miles. The color is Rose Quartz with burgundy cloth interior. Check out the DELUXE WHEELS! The car spent the first 17 years in Michigan and was shipped to Arizona in October of 2004. The exterior is near mint!! It has never been in an accident but had a small parking lot scrape on the right front fender which was beautifully repaired years ago. All four tires have 3,400+/- miles on them. INTERIOR: There is some sun fading of upholstery on the top of the back seat and headrests. Dash has a 4 minor cracks and the headliner has a couple bubbles. We have the owners manuals and leather binder, a box of extra fuses and electrical parts and 2 complete replacement antennas. The radio is ORIGINAL and works fine. The A/C needs service or replacement and the cruise control isn't working. Performed safety check and oil change last week. Doesn't burn oil! All trim is complete, power locks and windows work (driver's window is a bit slow), sunroof , rear deck spoiler. Week old clean CARFAX report and 2015 AZ emissions report (FAIL) in photo gallery. We had some emissions work done last week and had the car retested. Nitrogen was still high (3.31 vs. 2.5 pass level). If your state requires an emissions test, the catalytic converter will need to be replaced. More photos available in my Saabnet.com Member Photo Gallery:
- 1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 1/22/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 122,789 Price: $5500
This Saab has been storing in the garage the since 2008. I've bought it last year replaced all bad brakes, hoses, belts and plugs, fixed the heater, put new AC, new headliner, new axels - everything is working great except (driver's side window stop working recently, windows' motor is good, smth with the wiring, original radio has code and was working but discharging the battery, I removed it for now). The engine and transmission run great. Smooth idle, and very clean shifts with a good clutch. Overall body is in very good condition, but it needs some TLC - bumpers are scratched, some dents and SPG panels need a little work too. It has a few rusty spots on the rear floor pan. I will post some pictures so you will have a better idea. I drove about 1 thousand miles for the last year since I've bought it occasionally on weekends. It's been always stored in the lower level garage in my apartment building. The car had a lot of issues and all have been taken care by a very nice guy Roland from Swedish Underground, Brooklyn. So he probably knows about this car more than I do. The reason I'm looking to sell this car is that I've figured out I already spend more money on this than I initially planned. I'm not very good with car repair myself it's getting more and more expensive. Also, I'm paying $250/month for the parking. I would never sell it if I had a cheap place to park. Don't want to park this beauty on the street. Clean title in my name, just passed NY inspection. Let me know if you would like additional pictures or information. Saaby sold as-is, no implied warranty. Buyer responsible to arrange for pickup or transport. The Saab is also listed for sale locally, and Seller does reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please check this youtube video I've made recently:

- 1993 Saab 900 S (Posted 1/14/2018) SOLD
Color: Burgundy Trans: Manual Mileage: 245,000 Price: $500 OBO
Good running parts car or project. Rusty frame near front left control arm keeps it from passing PA inspection. Driven 5K in 2017, was my spare car. Engine runs strong & doesn't burn oil. New fuel pump & pressure regulator 2016. Tires have 75% tread. Snow tires with wheels. Used ABS pump & valve spare parts (I didn't install them yet - ABS light ON). Interior worn & paint matches mileage. RH front wheel well rust. Transmission pops out of 1st. 20K on clutch. 10K on both driveshafts & CVs. Sunroof & windows work, A/C does not. I was hoping to keep this last year "real" 900 as my spare, but I am not skilled enough to fix the frame rust.

1993 900 Turbo that started life as a S model 5 speed. Turbo engine swap performed by a previous owner. Car came to Va from Tx and is rust free. Red on black, one dent on left front fender and some clear coat failure on the hood. Interior is in good shape, driver seat shows wear and dash has cracks. The headliner is good overall with exception to sunroof where the liner is sagging. Runs and dives well, has 2nd gear grind if shifting to hard/fast. I have owned for 2+ years and am just ready to let it go onto someone else who will love and care for it, I do not drive it often to justify keeping it. True mileage unknown and clean Va title reflects this. Located in the west end of Richmond, Va.

Color: Iridium Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 121,500 Price: $4900
This is one of those cars, one owner, one elderly woman owned(Bought when she was about 70, driven till she was almost 90!). I just bought the car off her son who is 60ish years old. This was her last car. All new exhaust including exhaust manifold, new fuel pump, updated/upgraded factory transmission early on in its life. 90+ percent dealer serviced its whole life, and all the stamps in the maintenance book to prove it. Very rare iridium blue on marine blue leather interior. Leather is close to perfect. Dash and headliner are original. Some cracks in the dash and the headliner is up but is not perfect since it is "all original". The paint on the vehicle is all original, no accidents ever. No leaks, srs light is on (clock spring of course), vehicle literally drives like new with the exception of some inner driver shudder when accelerating hard in the vehicle. I have worked on/owned these cars for almost 25 years myself. The pictures will speak for themselves, literally no rust anywhere. I know these cars so if you are serious about a car like this (with minimal issues) this may be the one for you. This is one of the nicest, original, new england cars i have ever seen. The car was rarely driven in the winter, never wrecked/hit, and never abused. Call for more information, I am not taking any low offers, and the car is a cash only sale. - 1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 11/27/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 152,500 ap Price: $4900
It pains me to do this, but I am putting my Saab up for sale. Virva is her name.
I've owned her for the past 10 years and she has been stored at my sister's
garage for the past 4 years. My sister moved and I lost storage, so I'd rather a
Saab enthusiast take her from here as I'm unsure when the next indoor storage
space will make itself available. This car had been pampered and loved. This is
a SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CAR, and moved with me to NY in 2010. Straight body and no
rust. No accidents, clean Carfax (available). Maintained with Walter Wong at The
Right Solution in LA, and Swedish Underground Auto and Star Motors in NY during
my ownership. ONLY Saab trained mechanics, and I have worked on this car for the
past 10 years except for new batteries by Pep Boys. I regularly changed the oil
and filter every 2-3k miles. New (not rebuilt) AC compressor needs recharging.
Rebuilt transmission less than 25k miles ago (I have the receipt), though it
occasionally pops out of 3rd and sometimes grinds a little into 1st. I briefly
go into 2nd, then 1st from a dead stop to avoid any crunching. Exterior has some
imperfect molding trim and some scuffs. Engine runs smooth, and turbo spools up
nicely. New shocks, rotors and pads within the last 20k miles. Car will need to
be registered and safety inspected by new owner, so will need to be towed away.
Let me be clear though, the car runs well. The car was stored because we bought
an Outback as our daily driver. Headliner needs to be replaced. Aftermarket
sound system installed with manual rocker switch for rear amps and speakers.
(includes Bazooka powered sub, 2 @ 6x9 Kenwood's and 2 @ 4" Infinity's and
Kenwood head unit). Dash has some cracks, dashboard has wood upgrade. Tires will
need to be replaced, antennae mast was replaced (works in and out). Speedometer
broke, so it was replaced with a unit which had 30,000 less miles on it, hence
the approximate mileage. All gauges functioning correctly. ABS light is on but
has not affected braking power. Heater core was replaced and is a proper Swedish
furnace once again. Rebuilt washer pump and wiper motors. Original paint, still
looks shiny and nice when cleaned up. This is a good solid car, not a showpiece
by any means, but mechanically sound, great body and it still gets conversations
started and thumbs up. Extras include a soft car cover, Thule roof rack with
locks and Thule crank straps, a box of miscellaneous items like oil filters,
vacuum hoses, new spark plugs, lamps etc. My loss is someone's big gain here.
Serious inquiries only, and only via email. Carfax report available.
- 1986 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 11/20/2017) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Gray Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 149,840 Price: $2,200
My brother and I just got finished bringing an 86 flat nose SPG back to life
that he found in a parking garage in Denver. The interior is what you would
expect of a 30 year old SAAB with 150,000 miles. The car is surprisingly tight
with very little in the way of rattles and drives true and straight. The
transmission appears to be rebuilt and feels really good. The gears shift smooth
with good syncs throughout and no noise. We refreshed the clutch over the
weekend. Motor is really strong considering it is not even getting close to the
red on the boost gauge. We spent some time trying to get the APC working to no
avail. It is boosting to base boost and is still fast!! Brakes are as good as
they get. I've personally owned 2 86 SPG's and countless other SAABS and this is
a good one with loads of potential, it would be a great candidate to be taken to
the next level or just driven the way it is for years to come, it is a true
survivor. Car comes with lots of original paperwork including all manuals
etc. and has its original unused complete took kit! The car is located at my
brother's in Bailey CO a mountainous suburb of Denver CO.
