- 1992 Saab 900 (Posted 4/30/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 98,000 Price: $5000
This is the hard one, I have been driving SAABs since High School, 58 now an have had more than my fair share. I went to Montreal to pick this one up about 5 years ago from someone who also hated to let it go (drove it back to Ohio, 10 hours with zero problems). I drive it less than 1000 miles/year and have lost it's garage space. Interior/exterior 9/10. I haven't really driven it enough to have it serviced much, I did have a new clutch last summer and that's about it. Lots more pics if you want to email me. **Also selling the Edwardian Gray one on here, both are awesome cars... if I only had a barn.

Not a turbo but still pretty fast, 23 mpg city/32 highway all day. I could get in and drive to California tomorrow with zero worries. Thanks for looking, lots more pics if you would like to email me.

Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 265,000 Price: $3,650
Clean, very original example. Driven weekly to ensure reliability. Recent Virginia inspection and service is completely up to date. A lifetime of records and maintenance history including original window sticker and manuals. Shifts well, turbo still strong, clean headliner, upgraded stereo and speakers. Recent tires, clean original wheels. Quality repaint in original cherry red about three years ago - shows very well. No rust or corrosion anywhere top or bottom except for front wheel wells (pictured). Only four manageable flaws - A/C needs a charge, dash has usual cracks, badges on rear deck are out of order, one 6" separation on the driver seat (not a tear) - otherwise, she's a great one. Perfect driver or one to restore to top condition. Only selling because my 900 Turbo collection is too big and I don't have covered storage for them all! We have loved this car and hope it finds an enthusiast home. More photos available in classified gallery:
- 1988 Saab 900S Hatchback (Posted 4/12/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Rose Quartz Trans: Manual Mileage: 213K Price: $2,300
900S Hatchback normally aspirated. An overall good car with some faults: not
beyond the usual. Waifu finally had it with antique SAABs, so I bought her a
newer Volvo AWD wagon! Now have two c900s for sale (see other SAABnet advert
here for the lower-mileage '91: will keep whichever one remains). Perfect cruise
control; manual sunroof; tight, quiet smooth engine/tranny, no oil loss. But
significant fluid leakage from power steering (which still works OK): maybe bad
rack, maybe plumbing/pump seals. Will raise price $250 if I install new rack
prior to sale. Brand new OEM aluminum radiator and heater core valve. New clutch
hydraulics; new alternator regulator; 4K miles on Cooper Touring tires and on
new shocks all around; trailer hitch. Interior all VG or better (seats,
headliner), zero dashboard cracks! Minor paint bubbling/rust along wheelwell
edges, PSF and DSR, less minor through-corrosion under DS floor mat properly
repaired and resealed in 2016. Original Clarion radio. I'm the second owner,
mostly garaged in DC and SD from new through 2014. New IL plates. Negotiable
delivery within 500 miles of Chicago. Will truthfully discuss all details by
phone or email. See more pix online:

Color: Metallic Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 150K Price: $2,400
900 hatchback, normally aspirated. Daily driver, an overall good car with many
peculiarities: some beyond the usual, but nothing absolutely requiring immediate
attention. Waifu finally had it with antique SAABs, so I bought her a newer
Volvo AWD wagon. Now have two c900s for sale (see other SAABnet advert here for
the higher-mileage '88: will keep whichever one remains). Replaced brake pads
all around; relatively new HD Sachs clutch/pressure plate/throw-out bearing +
new clutch hydraulics, rebuilt alternator. Alpine HD audio system, two amps +
subwoofer. Michelin Destinies (fronts good; rears legal). Interior all
VG/excellent (seats, headliner), minor dash cracks. Originally an inland FL car,
so for its age no significant rust/corrosion. Bought it in 2006, I'm the third
owner. Included extras: four factory-new Gabriel Ultra shocks, 2 used ABS/MC
assemblies (one complete, tested OK, other for parts); extra used VG airbag
assembly, two extra airbag computers (clock spring previously replaced), used
antilock sensor+cable, PS rear required to reactivate ABS. Also recently
replaced DS upper/lower balljoints and lower control arm. Negotiable delivery
within 500 miles of Chicago. Will truthfully discuss all details by phone or

- 1988 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 4/11/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 225,265 Price: $3000
2-Owner, Colorado car, very well maintained by SAAB specialist Mile-Hi Automotive. Most recently they replaced rear brake pads and rotors at 220k. I have owned since 2005 putting around 35k on. Garaged 80% of the time. Paint is very good, with no rust or dings on body. Dogs tore off two molding pieces chasing a varmint, but I have them both. Engine and turbo very strong, clutch/tranny silky smooth. No leaks. Interior is fair: driver seat rough, rear seat needs restitched, but headliner is perfect. Less than 6k miles on General Altima RT All Season tires-excellent in snow. Heater is excellent. Passed 2015 Colorado Smog/inspection. Battery brand new 4/3/18. Gets 30 mpg highway! I really hate to part with "Sven", but it is time.

- 1992 Saab 900 Turbo/SPG (Posted 4/9/2018) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 237,000 Price: $4500 OBO
Engine and transmission run very strong. 237k miles, but mostly highway. This car is the result of merging my 1990 SPG drivetrain, APC system, interior and SPG panels onto a base RUST FREE Black 900. This was after my 1990 SPG rusted out. The car has a new headliner, newer dashboard with just one small crack (this is the earlier thin version that is better at resisting cracking). I have had a lot of work done to this car in the past couple of years, including regular service and oil change, and have replaced the following parts: distributor, oil cooler and hoses, alternator, water pump, battery, shocks, brakes, clutch slave and master cylinders and fluid line. I have done a lot of cosmetic work to the car, mostly on the interior - replaced the dash, newer switches, turn signal that stays up, reflocked the coin and console trays. I also have spent some time tidying up the engine bay. The car runs great, you will not be disappointed. I also have lots of spare parts, both big and small, that I will include in the sale in boxes. Asking price above for car and lot of parts. More photos available in classified gallery:
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition #180 (Posted 4/8/2018) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 134K Price: $7800
Offered for sale is my 1993 CE #180. 134K miles and as it came from the factory with no modifications. CE number plate is affixed to the lower console. Clean Carfax. I purchased this car a little over a year ago from a Saab repair technician in Northern VA that had previously sold me my other CE, #64, a number of years back. The car is in very good shape with no mechanical issues or leaks. A/C has been converted and blows cold. Many items have been replaced including a new cat-back Saab/Starla exhaust, correct size Michelin MXV Primacy tires, battery, rear brakes, windshield and a new plastic steering column bushing. Repair work under my ownership was completed at Viking Automotive in Gaithersburg, MD. All electrical items work including the power/heated seats though the factory CD player is intermittent at best. Seems to have a mind of its own. Recently has been playing CD's but could stop at any moment. Interior is in very nice shape with the typical driver's seat bolster wear and cracked dash (am including a black custom Dashmat). Headliner done before my ownership. Decent job with no sagging and in the correct color though a bit lumpy in the back. Carpet was removed and steam cleaned which also gave me a chance to check for floor rust which was, thankfully, non existent. Also comes with a relatively new set of correct Saab factory floor mats! The exterior and undercarriage are in good shape with no structural rust that I have seen though there is surface corrosion on nuts, bolts and where the paint has chipped off in the engine compartment, under the car and at a few small areas on the body. Car was professionally detailed about six months ago. The body has a number of dings on the sides that I have not addressed. A competent PDR shop could remedy most all of them if needed. The factory wheels and bumpers are due for a refinish. Car comes with the original window sticker, owners manual set, three keys and repair receipts from my ownership. Selling this CE as I have three other C900's and with ongoing back issues I am limited on what I can do in regards to working on my Saab's these days. Overall a strong running CE that would be a great platform for a new owner to take to the next level or drive as is for many years to come. Please call/text or email with any questions or offers. Additional photos are available upon request. Happy to help coordinate shipping if needed once the car is paid in full. Thanks!

- 1992 Saab 900 (Posted 4/3/2018) SOLD
Color: Dark Green Trans: Automatic Mileage: 122,--- Price: $1000
Solid driver. Excellent engine. Rust free California car. Bought this with the intention of a 5 speed conversion but the auto just rolls along. Has been pretty much a grocery getter for 10 years. Most of the drivetrain has been refurbished. Quite a bit of service history. I believe I'm the 2nd owner. Not a show car. Clear coat is going. A slight kiss on the trunk back edge. Headliner pretty much not there. Dash cracks. AC was strong a couple years ago but went quiet. SRS needs to be reset. The clock spring and the bearing collar replaced. Clean title. California registration good till December. More photos in my Saabnet.com Member Gallery:

- 1985 Saab 900 Base Sedan (Posted 3/21/2018) Share this Saab->
Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 70,000 Price: $2,000
I have owned this car for many years and recently put back on the road a year or so ago to get acquainted again. I replaced the feed and fuel pump accumulator and changed the oil. In that time the front seal started leaking and the warm-up regulator stopped working correctly. So it is hard starting and has an oil leak and will need the battery replaced. I have kept this car and always wanted to restore to the original condition and since have not been able to keep up with all that the cars I still wish to get and since I have less energy to fix the fleet I am forced to thin the herd. I will get pictures for the car as soon as I can and post to my gallery I have some there already but are old. The car is very original and is a good starter car to restore. I just don't have the time now and hope someone can appreciate it for a truly exceptional Saab model to be preserved. I will entertain a reasonable offer and would not hesitate to drive home.

- 1989 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 3/20/2018) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 148K+? Price: $5500
A most enjoyable car to drive, one of my favorites (I have 6 Saabs). Looks great from 10 feet, interior is very, very nice. Runs great. Top 5 negatives: 1. - Paint is not a pro job and there are some areas of flaking which I have touched up. 2. - Just looked at AC today and the compressor is spitting out oil - I have a spare AC that works but have not installed but will include. 3. - There is an oil leak which leaves a couple of 1-2" spots after a drive (doesn't leak after a drive when not running- I know that the tensioner o ring needs to be replaced but probably other leaks as well. Just haven't had the inclination to chase down the leaks yet). 4. - There is a scratch on windshield from worn wiper blade, and a few scratches on the driver's window. 5. - Sunroof needs some coaxing to open (some of the headliner material is binding) but once started opens fine. Closes just fine.
- 1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 3/19/2018) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 285,000 Price: $1200 Firm
High mileage but extremely well cared for 3 door turbo. My daily driver for last 15 years, but I finally need an automatic transmission, so here we are. Lots of new and upgraded parts, including bright Euro headlights, newer dash with no cracks, new headliner, A/C is cold with updated refrigerant, added powered sub-woofer in trunk. Overall very well maintained.
Issues on horizon include clutch - amazingly enough, this is the original clutch. Really. Also, leather interior is well worn, and driver's side seat has tear in leather near front of cushion. So that might need attention. Also, central vacuum locking just quit last week. I have had this repair done awhile ago, and it is not too expensive with used parts.
Other miscellaneous notes are that SRS light is on, due to worn contact. I tried to get that replaced, but local shop said parts are no longer available. You might have better luck. Ignition was replaced, so the car now has 2 keys, one for doors and one for ignition.
Price is set well below real value, so I have already done the negotiation process for you. Price is firm, and is a virtual steal.
- 1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 3/2/2018) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 112K Price: $7995
Being a Saab Master tech since 1998. I knew this limited edition, last year of the SPGs, was a special car. It needed a 1st gear syncro,and having specialized in 5-speed rebuilding, this transmission got the full treatment. The engine was also re-sealed, new head gasket, etc., upgraded stereo, cd player w/equilizer, all Saab. 150 watts. All original body, never been hit. No dents, rust. Heated seats. Very clean. A few scratches. Bought it for a Sunday driver, only put 2000 miles on it in 10 years.
- 1990 Saab 900 Turbo Hatchback (Posted 2/16/2018) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 121,xxx Price: $2250
Nice driving example of a California C900. This car was very refurbished for a my son. It's only been driven 1,000 miles in the last 10 years. Family changes precluded a manual transmission car. The 5 speed transmission was just gone thru by Scanwest. Upgrades include: SPG springs, Bilsteins, reinforced lower control arms, Saab muffler, 6" wide 9000 wheels, leather steering wheel, Dynamat on the floor, wired for rear amp, headliner. Recent maintenance of: head gasket, engine seals, radiator, water pump, low miles steering rack, black PS reservoir, and about 50 other things. Cruise works. Cons: AC was cold last year-not now. No radio. Text for more photos.

- 1987 Saab 900S Hatchback (Posted 1/23/2018) SOLD
Color: Rose Quartz Trans: Manual Mileage: 86,200 Price: $4,750
THIS ONE OWNER BEAUTY IS AWESOME! The car was purchased by my wife in September of 1987 and is all ORIGINAL! It has been meticulously maintained over its life (we have many receipts) and runs like a top!! The odometer was replaced under warranty at 20,320 miles. New odometer currently shows 65,878. Totals 86,198 miles. The color is Rose Quartz with burgundy cloth interior. Check out the DELUXE WHEELS! The car spent the first 17 years in Michigan and was shipped to Arizona in October of 2004. The exterior is near mint!! It has never been in an accident but had a small parking lot scrape on the right front fender which was beautifully repaired years ago. All four tires have 3,400+/- miles on them. INTERIOR: There is some sun fading of upholstery on the top of the back seat and headrests. Dash has a 4 minor cracks and the headliner has a couple bubbles. We have the owners manuals and leather binder, a box of extra fuses and electrical parts and 2 complete replacement antennas. The radio is ORIGINAL and works fine. The A/C needs service or replacement and the cruise control isn't working. Performed safety check and oil change last week. Doesn't burn oil! All trim is complete, power locks and windows work (driver's window is a bit slow), sunroof , rear deck spoiler. Week old clean CARFAX report and 2015 AZ emissions report (FAIL) in photo gallery. We had some emissions work done last week and had the car retested. Nitrogen was still high (3.31 vs. 2.5 pass level). If your state requires an emissions test, the catalytic converter will need to be replaced. More photos available in my Saabnet.com Member Photo Gallery:
- 1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 1/22/2018) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 122,789 Price: $5500
This Saab has been storing in the garage the since 2008. I've bought it last year replaced all bad brakes, hoses, belts and plugs, fixed the heater, put new AC, new headliner, new axels - everything is working great except (driver's side window stop working recently, windows' motor is good, smth with the wiring, original radio has code and was working but discharging the battery, I removed it for now). The engine and transmission run great. Smooth idle, and very clean shifts with a good clutch. Overall body is in very good condition, but it needs some TLC - bumpers are scratched, some dents and SPG panels need a little work too. It has a few rusty spots on the rear floor pan. I will post some pictures so you will have a better idea. I drove about 1 thousand miles for the last year since I've bought it occasionally on weekends. It's been always stored in the lower level garage in my apartment building. The car had a lot of issues and all have been taken care by a very nice guy Roland from Swedish Underground, Brooklyn. So he probably knows about this car more than I do. The reason I'm looking to sell this car is that I've figured out I already spend more money on this than I initially planned. I'm not very good with car repair myself it's getting more and more expensive. Also, I'm paying $250/month for the parking. I would never sell it if I had a cheap place to park. Don't want to park this beauty on the street. Clean title in my name, just passed NY inspection. Let me know if you would like additional pictures or information. Saaby sold as-is, no implied warranty. Buyer responsible to arrange for pickup or transport. The Saab is also listed for sale locally, and Seller does reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please check this youtube video I've made recently:
