1990 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 2/6/2016)
Color: black Trans: Manual Mileage: 281,700 Price: $3950
Here is my brief Saab story. In the Spring of 2011 this car was gifted to me by my dear friends at Scanwest in Seattle. I am very happy to tell the motivated buyer the longer Saab story as to how such a thing happened, however the story is in fact a testament to Scanwest's integrity and superior level of customer service over the years. I have recently (last September) "upgraded" to a lovely 1985 900 Turbo. Sadly, I have a one-car garage. A very extensive list of features, 1014 and 2015 updates, photos and known blemishes will be supplied to anyone who asks. Thanks for looking.

This would make a GREAT car for someone to restore. Feel free to email with Any questions. I can also email pictures of anything you would like to see.

1987 Saab 900 Base (Posted 1/14/17)
Color: blue Trans: Manual Mileage: Approx 170,000 Price: $900 OBO
Base model 900 made to look like a turbo. It has the 8 valve N/A engine. Will need all four brakes, exhaust, cabin fan and most likely a new battery to be road worthy. Engine is strong though. Probably best for parts but definitely could be restored and would be a great daily driver. I enjoyed it and would keep it, but I have too many Saabs now. Selling as whole car. Will need to be towed. Very flexible on price. Email me any questions!

1987 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 1/10/2016) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 240,000 Price: $2800
Inspected until December 2016. It's been my daily driver for over a year, receiving a ton of attention in that time. Traveled about 40,000 in that time. Traveled from Philadelphia to Denver in back in May 2015. 4,000 miles in two weeks. Transmission as replaced several years ago, Cooling system overhauled with new radiator, thermostat, fans and fan switch. Brake system overhauled in August 2014, Fuel Pump last week and so much more. There is some rust in the wheel wells that is under encapsulator for now. It hasn't spread yet.
1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 1/9/2016) SOLD
Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 235,000 Price: $6000 OBO
For sale is my 1991 Beryl Green SPG near Vancouver BC. You know the story on these...1 of only 109 SPGs imported to North America in this color in 1991. Owned since September 2012. Purchased from Portland, OR and imported to Canada. Drive tunnels, fenders, under-door areas are rust free. Clean summer driver that needs someone to take it to the proverbial next level. During my ownership I've replaced the headliner, renewed the brakes and most of the cooling system components plus sundry other things including the clutch (slave, clutch, pressure plate). Wheels are refurbished Aeros in beautiful shape. Tires are Continentals with lots of life. Transmission shifts smoothly. This car should be viewed as a driveable project for the serious Saab person willing to invest to make it a real show car. It has some door dings and needs work but is very driveable (I drove it 6 hours from Portland to Canada when I bought it in 2012 and use it as a daily driver in summer months for round trips of 60 miles per day to/from work). Price: $6000 US. Please respond by email. VIN: YS3Al35L8M5000667. Buyer responsible for import/export. CARFAX is clean but there is evidence of previous minor body repair above the passenger wheel well (paint crack).
1989 Saab 900 Turbo Carlsson (Posted 1/9/2016) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 93,325 Price: $3000
1989 Saab 900Turbo Carlsson In need of a new good home! This was a daily driver turned project car, then moth-balled for finishing later. Now is later, and I don’t have the time. Tons of upgrades and extra parts. Not all are currently installed. This 900 needs work, but not to get her running. It has not been registered or on the road in since 2009. I have changed the oil and coolant when needed and started the motor up to operating temps. I have most records of when it was worked on by Swedish Auto in Austin, TX. Other maintenance was done myself. See my membership profile for Details and more pictures:
I will be uploading more pictures of it's current state in the coming days.

1985 Saab 900 Turbo 4 Door (Posted 12/27/2015) SOLD
Color: Rose Quartz Trans: Manual Mileage: 160,000 estimate Price: $1,200 OBO
Strong running 1985 Saab Turbo with nice silverspoke wheels with new tires. I've had this car for 3 years and used it as my part time car when on the West coast ( I was bi-coastal between CT and LA). I recently moved full time to LA so I drove my 98 9000 out West and can't keep both cars so I've decided to sell this 1985 Turbo. PROS: - 5 speed transmission. -Car runs really strong, turbo pulls as it should and it does not run hot in traffic. Temp guage never budges past 1/4. -Recently replaced original rims with great set of silverspoke wheels and new tires - No rust. - Purchased from Walter Wong's Right Solution Garage. CONS: - AC not working. _ aftermarket radio install drains battery if left sitting for 3 or more days so quick release on battery is installed. When I went out of town I'd unplug battery as a precaution. - wipers died on road trip up North and in order to swap in used wiper assembly while on road small cut out was made under passenger wiper arm mount. I did not have tools to take AC compressor out to do job properly. When hood is closed you do not see cut out. - faded paint on hood and some typical scratches from being parked on the street. No major dents or dings. - auto mirror and locks not working. Wires need to be cut out and replaced near drivers side door jam. Original 16 spoke rims included also. More pictures available upon request.
1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 12/23/2015)
Color: Talladega Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 300,000 Price: $2800
Some rust and dents. Project SPG, recently stopped working. Until then, it consistently delivered 30+ mpg. On a recent trip across the Rockies, I got just about 35mpg. I believe the coil finally went out. This has been my most reliable Saab in a long time and it's been an ongoing project for me the last few years. Now with a baby on the way, I really need to get rid of the 3-door cars. Miles are estimated. Please read the whole story here:

1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 11/24/2015) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 107,601 Price: $8,200
Fantastic Edwardian Grey 1988 900 SPG. I purchased for my wife less than a year ago. Unfortunately she is having some hip issues and the manual transmission makes it impossible for her to drive so it's been sitting unused - we put less than 200 miles on it last year. It ran great when used it - turbo pulls strong. I have all the maintenance records from original owner that garage kept the car as well as all original manuals, the original radio (Clarion in there now) in perfect condition. This car is 100% rust free - I found one small area of rust under the passenger side back wheel trim and paid $1,100+ to repair it last month (have receipt). Interior is in great shape. One small ding on trunk and small rock ding on windshield lower left side. Plenty of pictures to share if interested.
1993 Saab 900 S (Posted 11/12/2015) SOLD
Color: Dark Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 99,500 Price: $2500
Selling my 1993 Saab 900 S. It has been my daily driver for the past two years. This is a 3 owner car with entire service history documented. Car looks and runs great. Exterior is in great shape with no dents or dings, although the paint shows a few spots where tree sap got on it. Interior shows a little wear, the seats are tearing at the seams but the dash is in great shape and has been covered and no sagging headliner. Power mirrors, windows and sunroof all work as they should. Engine runs strong. The transmission shifts well though it does need the gaskets replaced as it does have a slow leak. Also, the transmission sometimes slips out of 5th gear. The car runs and drive great but this will need to be attended to and is the reason why I have priced a car with such low miles for such a low price. Email for more hi-res photos.
1993 Saab 900 Commemorative Edition #236 (Posted 11/10/2015) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 141,808 Price: $3,500
Car runs and drives well, new tires and front brakes, fresh tune, great paint and interior is decent (no rips, tears, but a bit dry.) Great platform for full restoration - issues: headliner partially done, but not well, dash cracks, passenger rear fender has a repair evident that should be redone and shifts well, but slides out of third on deceleration. clean underneath, small spot of rust on hood is all I have found, all power items work (except AC,) updated stereo. Long time Saab owner, bought a GTI (I know...) and am thinning the ranks - keeping one of my two 900 T convertibles, so not leaving the fold entirely!
1988 Saab 900 Turbo Hatchback (Posted 11/9/2015) SOLD
Color: Grey Trans: Automatic Mileage: 260,xxx Price: $950 OBO
Have to give up my Saab since I no longer have the time or space to work on it. Was my daily driver, but needed something with slightly better gas mileage and less maintenance. Instrument cluster was replaced by previous owner but judging by Carfax and current reading I would say it has about 260k miles on it. Clean title and tags should be good for another couple years. Recent work done includes front shocks, ball joints, CV joint/axles, alternator and bushings, water pump, starter, fuel pump/accumulator, brakes and calipers, A/C condenser and evaporator, hatch struts. Comes with four winter tires, front Boston Acoustic and Kenwood speakers, Blaupunkt stereo, 8" sub. Leaks oil (main seal?), power steering leak, antenna doesn't work, headlights on the fritz (relay?), rear parcel shelf has been replaced but not reupholstered, rust starting on wheel well, electric windows a little slow, rear window seals weak (fine in rain, but not car wash), intermediate pipe leak, automatic transmission shifts a little hard between 2nd and 3rd but can be helped by manually shifting between 2nd and D (I have been told the accumulator needs to be replaced), clear coat chipping/fading.
1987 Saab 900 (Posted 11/5/2015) SOLD
Color: red Trans: Manual Mileage: 176,000 Price: $3200
Nearly rust free Washington state car for sale. Excellent body and mechanical condition. Has original paint; no sheet metal repairs ever. Small blister in rear door seam. Recent repairs include all belts and hoses, heat control valve, all filters, headliner, transmission mount, all brakes (pads, rotors, calipers), front shocks and exhaust. Have receipts for many repairs completed by prior owner that include clutch. This is an 8 valve non turbo car so it's not a screamer, but very pleasant to drive nonetheless. It has a center console installed from a 900S. It is not registered, but I have a very long driveway you may use to test drive. I'm selling to make room for my 1963 Saab 96 project car. Price above or sensible offers.
1991 Saab 900S (Posted 11/3/2015) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 119,000 Price: $5950
I can't bring myself to drive this in salt, so I've decided to sell my 900, which is as close to mint, perfect and new as you will find. This car has just turned 119,000 miles (note in one of the pictures, I've revved the motor up to 2,500 rpms to show that none of the warning lights are tripped). In the last month, I had it serviced extensively by a certified Saab Master Technician who tells me it's as nice as he's seen in years. Brake (genuine Saab!), fluids, tires, and a general once-over for anything it might need. New Alpine front and Infinity 4x10 rear speakers. Now, it needs nothing but a new owner. A/C has just been updated with R134A and blows ice cold. The heated seat, one-touch windows, power antenna, headlight wipers, original fog lights (you know - all the things that are wrong with all of the other ones) ALL WORK! The paint is original!! Every trim piece is in place. The sunroof opens smoothly. The headliner doesn't sag (it's brand new). The original owners pouch, manuals, flashlight, pen and tire pressure gauge is there. Even the parcel shelf is in place. And most importantly, there is absolutely NO RUST anywhere on the car, let alone corrosion, tarnish or oxidation.
1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 11/3/2015) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 101,500 Price: $2,750
The car looks great and drives very straight! Did I mention this is an SPG model? The car has been repainted original Black and wheels have been refinished. (Nearly) everything works on this car, you can drive it everyday. For the past 4 years it has been garaged and used during the summer. Transmission shifts great, tires are new, radio works as does the power antennae. Over the past few years the car received a new battery, new alternator belt, new power steering hose and pump and other easy fixes. Did I mention this is an SPG? Interior is in good shape (for its age) with no real cosmetic issues. I recently drove it 90 miles on the highway and it performed fine!

Seeking a good home for my stock 900 Turbo. This is a solid clean 3-owner car; I acquired it locally in 2006. Talladega red with Buffalo grey leather. Exterior and interior are very attractive. Lovingly cared for and expertly maintained (by S&J in Atlanta and Sports Car Service in Delaware with its first 2 owners). Transmission was replaced (Eriksson's rebuild) at 179K. New clutch. Nice set of Michelin MXV4 tires. Working sunroof, A/C. Stock radio with newer speakers and an aux jack added by SaabRadio.com. Lots more pictures available upon request. 1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 10/29/2015) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 225,000 Price: $2000 OBO
Looking for a loving home for this SPG. New battery and windshield. Odometer stopped at 215K has around 225K. Runs strong and shifts well (previous owner rebuilt gearbox). Has rear décor panel and exhaust tip, Clarion head unit with 12 CD changer, 100 watt fog lamps, tray under passenger seat. Manual seat belts, headliner sagging again, AC does not work, clock does not work, all other gauges do work. No collision work, exterior finish is OK, but no rust. I am doing the dreaded “D” word – downsizing and need to find a Saab fan that can appreciate this SPG.

Blaupunkt cd/radio works but antenna needs replacing. A/C also needs repair. Exterior is clear of rust but probably could use a clear coat. Roof rack and Thule bike mount included. We love this car and don’t want to sell it -- Please give it a good home!
1986 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 10/16/2015) SOLD
Color: Eduardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 179,000 Price: $3700 OBO
1986 Saab 900 SPG for sale. 179,000 original miles, 5 speed manual transmission. Car has Eduardian Grey exterior with Buffalo Grey interior. I just installed a brand new OE spec clutch system (Sachs friction disc, slave cylinder, transfer case seals, flywheel pilot bearing, rear main seal, Sachs pressure plate, throwout bearing) and car is ready for another 100,000 miles. I also changed all the belts (power steering, alternator) and changed the oil and filter 1,000 miles ago. Car has been repainted within the last 7 years, and the paint is in excellent condition. This is the cleanest exterior I have ever seen on a 900 SPG in person. I purchased the car from an elderly former 1970's Formula Ford racing driver who owned it since 1991 or approximately 30,000 miles, so I am the 3rd owner. He did all of the labor himself and garaged the vehicle in the winters--he took excellent care of the car. Car has no rust which is rare on a Minnesota car of this era. Interior is in good shape for a 1986, but the headliner needs redoing. The original radio and equalizer both light up and still receive power but the radio needs a new power switch inside the unit to switch on again. New tires have about 5,000 miles on them. SPG wheels have been refinished. Car has minor valve cover oil leak, rear main seal used to leak but is now new. Couple paint bubbles on front body. No check engine lights, no weird goofy molested/modified car stuff. All lights work, blower/heat works well. I don't want to let it go but I simply don't have the space to store it for the winter like it deserves.
