- 1985 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 9/16/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 165,000 Price: $3000
Selling my '85 900 SPG. Owned for 7 years. Nice original flatnose, black/tan interior. A great driver with numerous new parts, including tires, brakes, rebuilt turbo, water pump, exhaust (mostly new)--all of which has been done in past 5k miles. Transmission is quite good - doesn't pop out in any gear. Headliner was replaced a few years ago and has no issues. Dash has cracks of course, AC was removed as it didn't work. Has a front mount intercooler and an improved air intake. Certainly not perfect, there are small dings here and there, clear coat separating on driver rear quarter panel, one rust spot in the front driver wheel well--things like that. Needs a few minor bits (front driver turn signal lens has a crack across the top, turn signal lever doesn't stay up for right turn, etc..). But all in all it's a great fun car. Sad to see it go--just not driving it enough these days.

Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 50,000 Price: $1900
1984 Saab 900 Flatnose sedan. Automatic with a Borg Warner 3 speed. Runs good. Newer tires, paint job, all recent oil changes with synthetic. Garaged for most of its life. Most everything currently works, including original radio (odometer stopped working a few years ago). Newer muffler, new CV joint driver side, new water pump, new heater control arm, leather seats that came out of an 1988 SPG. Stuff that it needs someday: a tune up; passenger side CV joint is leaking a bit; 1 small patch of rust under the passenger side door that should be addressed at some point; and you might want to replace the engine mounts at some point for a smoother ride.

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 283,400 Price: $3,500 OBO eBay Auction
Runs and drives great and is a lot of fun to drive. Car is on lowering springs, and has an HKS blow off valve installed by prior owner. Exhaust sounds great and passed Arizona emissions. I look at this car as a fun driver that can be a daily driver also, but has its quirks. Autocheck says I'm the 6th owner and it's lived most of its life in Arizona (records back to 1988). Known issues: -Paint is Arizona toasted in spots. Dent near driver side mirror. Cracking paint on the roof. Rust bubbles around wing on the back. Little blemishes here and there but looks great from 10 feet. -One hose is torn on the A/C system, so no A/C at this time. -Needs tires, I haven't replaced because I was looking for 16 inch wheels. -Ignition key is broken in the ignition, I use a small flat head screwdriver to start it without issue. -Window tint on side windows is ok, strip along top of windshield is amateur. -Wipers stopped working today. The motor makes noise and wiper arms move freely. -A radio is in there, but wires are disconnected. Radio worked when purchased but wires were loose and I've not bothered to reconnect them, car sounds too good. -Missing part of passenger side window lever. -Headliner has stains / Sun visors not beautiful. -Turn Signal Switch works as it should, just a little looser than I'd like. Newer parts include: -Drive Axles. -Wheel Bearings. -Fuel Filter/Lines/Injectors. -All Engine/Trans mounts. -Front Right Caliper. It honestly pains me to sell it. I took it out for a long drive today and almost decided not to sell it. I have 2 cars that aren't practical (2006 Corvette) and I'm selling both to get into a 2010/2011 9-5 Aero. I've only the vehicle for 4 months and its been my around town and "when I don't need A/C in Arizona" driver. ***Please ask any questions and I will answer your question to the best of my ability and if you request specific pictures and I will send them over as soon as possible. eBay Auction:

Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 240,000 Price: $2,500
We have owned this 1992 900 turbo for a year and are the third owners. This car is in superb mechanical condition and drives beautifully. Garaged for the past year. Before 2016 was a Colorado car. Small rust spot over the passenger side wheel arch. We have replaced the steering rack(2016), new tires (2016), new battery (2016), installed a new ABS brake accumulator(2017), replaced brake light switch (2016), reupholstered the driver side front seat (2017), repaired the seat motors on the driver's side (2017), replaced passenger window motor (2017). AC blows cold and has been converted. Transmission shifts smooth. Turbo has good pressure. The previous owner installed a new headliner. An OEM stereo has been installed but has a security code issue that seems to be specific to this Saab. (The OEM stereo works in other Saabs). Cosmetically, the car is in fair condition - the Scarabe Green paint is cracking on the hood pretty significantly from UV damage but the rest is okay. The interior is very clean. Carpeting is good, dash has some cracks. Overall, this car is fantastic. We have kept it extremely clean - and have gone over it with a fine tooth comb. It's just time for us to devote more energy to our other Saabs. Current Colorado inspection and registration. Car available for viewing/driving in Marion, MA.

Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 188,300 Price: $2200
Starts up every time and runs good. Recent clutch. New spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change and idle control valve. I replaced the headliner (myself) and it looks great.Two new tires on it also. I showed a pic of the small patch of rust on the driver's fender and there is also a very small patch on the passenger side too. The car has very very little rust. I'm sure this was garaged most of its life. The dash is cracked. The front and rear seats I would say are a 9/10, as well as the door panels. The heat, all lights, wipers, power windows, horn, radio work. The car shifts great. I replaced the thermostat and flushed out the coolant this year as well. Not a turbo car so less problems to go wrong. The car isn't perfect and has some issues but it is a great car that was maintained. Any questions feel free to ask. I'm selling the car locally as well and have had a few offers. The car has a clean title as well. It is being sold AS-IS with no warranties.

Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 259,000 Price: $2500
My brother purchased new and I have owned it for past 14 years. Driven lightly for past 14 years - approximately 3,000 miles per year. Mature owned and driven. Little rust - some near back end trunk area. Headliner good- replaced several years ago, Leather drivers seat (original) worn, other leather seats not torn. Basic maintenance performed during lifetime - complete repair/maintenance records and the original window sticker. Oil changed very regularly. Brake fluid maintained regularly. Coolant flushed every couple of years, radiator and most of the cooling system renewed along with front axle repacked and CV joint replacement several years ago. Turbo functions (base boost only - needs spring). Transmission replaced at 130K. AC disconnected, oil cooler removed. Power mirrors, heated seats, gas gauge, tachometer not working. Current PA state inspection (good until March 2018). Almost everything original except for radio and antenna. Car runs nicely.

Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 161,500 Price: $5950 OBO
Just don't have the room for my 1991 Saab 900 SPG. She is a very rare color, 1 of only 109 beryl green cars made. She looks great, gets noticed everywhere. The paint looks pretty good for the age, few scratches on the hood and the roof is starting to fade and has marks on it. On the rear hatch there are a few small dents. Also, on the hatch there are two small rust bubbles, only rust on the body. The car did have some rust in the rear floor pan, but I've had it all taken care of. The rear axle and some suspension components have some rust but nothing too bad. I had a new evaporator, drier, and a rebuilt A/C compressor installed. The compressor won't turn on, I believe it's just a bad ground. I may get to this before it's sold if I have time. The car has brand new firestone tires, maybe 1000 miles on them. She has 9000 super aero rims and I bought wider tires, so the rears will rub on certain bumps. I bought new springs to alleviate the problem, just haven't had them installed yet. Another thing that I might have done before she sells, if I have time. new front axles installed. The engine and transmission run great. Smooth idle, andclean shifts with a goodclutch. The interior looks good, seats show some minor wear, but nothing bad. The dash has a few small cracks, unlike most of these cars that are completely destroyed. I bought a dash pad, to protect it from now on. The headliner will need to be replaced, very common issue with these cars. Right rear fender dented slightly. still has original Clarion Radio and rare Equalizer . The radio antenna goes up and down flawlessly. The SRS light just started comin on, haven't looked into it yet, might be a fuse. I bought this car not too long ago, just don't have the space for it now. She is not museum perfect by any means, she's a driver. But, she does show well. I will most likely lose money on her, Because of the rarity of the color, I'm asking the price above OBO. Worst I can say is no, let me know. Text and I can send more pictures.

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 250,xxx Price: $5500 OBRO
1992 Saab 900 Turbo. Engine and transmission run very strong. This car is the result of merging my 1990 SPG drivetrain, APC system, interior and SPG panels onto a base RUST FREE Black 900. This was after my 1990 SPG rusted out. The car has a new headliner, newer dashboard with just one small crack (this is the earlier thin version that is better at resisting cracking). I have had a lot of work done to this car in the past couple of years, including regular service and oil change, and have replaced the following parts: distributor, oil cooler and hoses, alternator, water pump, battery, shocks, brakes, clutch slave and master cylinders and fluid line. I have done a lot of cosmetic work to the car, mostly on the interior - replaced the dash, newer switches, turn signal that stays up, reflocked the coin and console trays. I also have spent some time tidying up the engine bay. The car runs great, you will not be disappointed. I also have lost of spare parts, both big and small, that I will include in the sale in boxes. Thanks! Rich

- 1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 8/2/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: Talladega Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 176,xxx Price: $4500
Up for sale I have my 1991 SPG in Talladega red. While not museum quality, the car is in GOOD condition and I would classify this as a driver. It is also, as you know, 1 of only 40 and the last year of the SPG. This is a very rare car, you don't see this year car in this color in any condition for sale very often. The previous owner has done a lot to the car: replaced all engine seals (less head gasket), rebuilt transmission (unfortunately it still has pinion whine), all the major rust issues repaired, red box apc, CE dash bezel, OEM whale tail (I have since taken it off and replaced with standard 900 turbo spoiler). Unfortunately, he also replaced the front seats with super aero seats and had them custom dyed a lighter shade of grey. I have since replaced the super aero seats with 900 seats in a grey that closely matches the dye job (almost perfect match). It's had a lot of work done to it but it's all part of the upkeep for these classics. I never thought I'd let her go, but I don't drive it much anymore and it needs to go to someone who knows what it is and can continue to restore and conserve it. It will need a new power steering rack (current one leaks). I have service records. The car comes with a lot of rare parts (extra spg panels, super aero wheels, super aero seats, whale tail, louvers etc...). More pictures upon request. Serious inquiries only. I prefer email as a way to initially communicate.

Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 150,000 Price: $2000
The car is rust free. The seats and exterior paint job are original but the front seats are experiencing some wear. The engine is in good condition but the power steering and turbo need some work. There is a slight frame crack above the left front tire on the side panel. The transmission has recently been rebuilt, all the hoses in the engine have been replaced, and the car has passed a smog check recently. The car drives great and is durable, as I was able to drive the car from Los Angeles to San Francisco with no issue. I also use it for my 45 min commute in the mornings for work. The radio works but the dashboard is slightly broken as the odometer shows 850,000 while the car has only 150,000, which I have work reports to prove the mileage. The radio works but the air conditioning doesn't cool and the sun roof does not work.

Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 165k Price: $950 OBO
For sale is our trusty 1989 Saab 900 Turbo sedan 5 speed. We are the second owners and have had her since 1999 when we bought her with 57k. Her first owner was a doctor in Madison WI who purchased and had her serviced at Zimbrick Saab. She has been a great car for us and I have always planned on keeping her forever and restoring her to as new condition but life sometimes has other plans and it is time for her to find a new home. She has been a garage queen the past 4 years or so and seldom driven. New brakes and maybe tires are likely in order before any driving of any real distance. I have rotors and pads, just not the time. She currently has Continental Pro Contacts on 9000 rims, original rims with a very old set of Nokians come with. She has had her head gasket replaced and a new clutch put in by Tom Mueller of European Auto House in Mequon WI. Tom has been my go to indy since my first Saab in 1991. Many other maintenance items, new radiator and headliner come to mind, have been done in the last 7 or 8 years. The AC currently doesn't work and the second fan is out but I do have it. This would be a great car to restore. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or request more pictures, happy to share and really want her to go to a good home. Thanks for looking! 1983 base model, 5 -speed, Air conditioning. This car is probably a parts car but could still be drivable with some work. Needs clutch. Some rust. Turn signals work, but don't automatically cancel. Front brakes have the classic "reverse clunk". Interior and headliner are good, engine is quite good. Transmission is fine, I changed oil religiously and had it serviced regularly since I bought it new in '83. It is currently smogged for California. Starts and drives, but clutch is pretty far gone. AC works. Odometer stopped working at 245,000 but not many miles added since then, probably less than 10,000. Wheels and tires good, with probably 25,000 miles of tread still remaining. This car has lots of good parts.

This lovely grande dame was my daily driver until the day the inspector said the chassis had rusted out, to take it home and park it. I did, tearfully. Have been wanting to find an aficionado to rescue her and give her new life but it hasn't happened. This is how she looked the day I parked and walked away. (Many more pix by request.) It has sat a year or 2 and is now dirty but nothing a good bath wouldn't fix. At that time everything was in perfect running condition. Just needs someone to weld the undercarriage back together and get it running again. Also needs a new headliner, has a couple rust spots by the wheel wells. Interior nice and clean. One area on driver's seat needs resewing. Leather good and strong. Previous owner put in lots of bells and whistles which I don't understand but have the papers about it. Delight to drive, of course. I can't bear the thought of scrapping or scavenging. Please give this lovely girl a new home - turn her into a creampuff again.
- 1991 Saab 900S Hatchback (Posted 6/11/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 200,200 Price: $2,250 OBRO
Wonderful Saab 900S for sale. Moving and will not be able to take it. My sister and I have owned the car since about 2010, bought it at around 175,000 miles. Car is in good running condition. New radio and battery replaced in the last couple months. AC and heat both work. Paint on the outside is beginning to wear on the hood and back of the car, as can be seen in the close up picture. Cosmetically the dash has a replacement cover that is beginning to come off and plastic which surrounds the controls is peeling. Shifts well and is fun to drive. Passenger window is a bit slow to roll up, but eventually closes. Seal on one of the back windows has come loose. Original spare tire still in the trunk. Has been a very reliable car, gently used and well maintained since we purchased it. Please contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Copy of the carfax available, please just ask. Email is a more reliable way to get in touch and is preferred at least initially. Thanks for looking! More photos available in classified gallery:

- 1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 6/5/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 213,500 Price: $3200 OBRO
This car has been my daily driver for nearly 24 years. I bought it when it had 6800 miles. I am the second owner and have kept the car garaged and well maintained (my mechanic deals exclusively with Saabs) since I bought it in 1993. Currently over 213k miles and still going strong. Paint is in good condition. Power windows, power sunroof, automatic transmission. Some rust around wheel wells and base of doors. New rear brakes and very good tires. Replaced too many things to name over the years, but have service records for most. Use synthetic oil. Dashboard has cracks typical for its age, but the rest of the interior is good. Headliner replaced a few years ago. Tan leather interior. Newer stereo system with CDX/mp3/Xm ready. A/C blows cold. It needs a few cosmetic fixes, antennae mast, horn button, analog clock, cruise control (intermittent), driver side seat heater pad, etc. but overall, the car is in good condition. I drive it every day. No accidents. I will miss it, but I need a bigger vehicle. Additional photos available upon request.
- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 6/5/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 252,000 Price: $1750
Babied and garaged its entire life by both the original owner and me since 2007 at 161,000 miles. Pure stock, never modified. Always name brand premium gas and conventional 10/30 (oil barely changes color between changes). This is my sixth C900 since 1984 but it has been by far the best. THE GOOD: Shifts nicely; no popping out of gear. No leaks; I always chased them down as soon as they appear. Minimal dash cracks. New front end 2014; needed the rack but while there also did steering knuckle, axles, CV joints and wheel bearings. Alternator 2016. Head gasket 2015. 4 new Bilsteins 2014; at the same time Auto Rust Technicians replaced both rear upper shock mounts. They also replaced both front control arms in 2009. Very good body - always parked away from other cars so only 3 very small dings. 2007-2009: New heater control valve, headliner, radiator, and complete exhaust including both heat shields but not the original cat since it was in excellent condition. THE BAD: Cruise and horn quit 2016. Converted AC was fine last summer/fall but doesn't work now. Driver's seat needs typical work, and carpet has worn through. Probably needs a basic tune-up. Front passenger side floor has slight buckle from my mechanic missing the jack point, so the floor support underneath (behind the control arm) has partially separated and started to rust. SRS light came on signifying the air bag needs to be professionally checked but I just pulled the bulb instead. Rear speakers no good; left front intermittent. Equalizer works intermittently. E-brake light flickers; minor adjustment likely needed. Previous owner put a small crease along the passenger side so the rear quarter has been repainted. I also replaced the passenger door for the same reason in 2014. Paint is otherwise original and looks quite good, although two small bubbles might be forming over the rear passenger wheel well. No other known rust except typical non-structural surface rust in the nose under the hood, and some is starting to form at the bottom of the driver's door. SALE INCLUDES: 14 boxes of parts from my previous 1993 900S. PRICED TO SELL: That's everything of importance I can think of right up front. First one there takes it. Too many health and family issues pulling me in other directions so I can no longer give it the attention it deserves.
- 1986 Saab 900 3dr Hatchback (Posted 5/26/2017) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 20,950 Price: $10,000
A classic that has been preserved with the utmost care for the past 31 years. This car is all original, pristine, always garaged, never seen rain or snow. It was often washed and waxed even though it never was driven. Doors and hatch were left ajar so the rubber seals would not be prematurely flattened. This is a unique car in that it has been preserved yet yearly maintained as if it would be used but rarely left its spot in the garage. It sits on the original Pirelli's, however, also with the car is a set of 900S alloys with Michelin tires that were purchased in the early 90's but never used. Your looking at a 31 year old car that can be driven home with nothing to replace or restore just simply drive it and enjoy for many years and miles. Sitting in it reminds you how simple and basic a car used to be and frankly a real motor car you got in to drive.
This is a 1986 900 3dr Hatchback, 8v, manual 5spd, 21k miles, extra set of orig. Saab 900S alloy wheels with Michelins.
