Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 139,000 Price: $4700
Well-maintained and sweet driving 900S for sale. This car has clearly been taken care of: red paint can still be seen inside the wheel wells. It starts and drives perfectly, steering is excellent and easy, brakes feel solid, and acceleration is brisk. Cornering is crisp. Yokahama Avid tires appear to have very low miles. Front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition, each with their aluminum strips. No warning lights are on and even the airbag and anti-lock system are in working order. Tan seats are solid with no rips or tears. Car passed tough Virginia state inspection just last month. It also appears to leak no fluids.

- 1989 Saab 900 Turbo Carlsson Clone (Posted 3/17/2017) Share this Saab-> Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 93K Price: $4,300
Note! After examination by a respected Saab expert, it was determined that
rather than an original Carlsson (denoted via trans code) this vehicle was
probably a European delivery 900 Turbo (based upon info from previous owner)
equipped with the factory Carlsson air flow package. Sorry for the confusion.
That said, it has no negative impact upon the car as the trans was the only
difference between these vehicles. Carlsson had a slightly higher final gear
ratio resulting in a slightly higher top speed. This remains a very solid, low
mileage, lightly modded and well behaved example of a disappearing breed. I am
at $4300 or will subtract $500 if purchased with just the steel hood. Negotiable
is a nice original steering wheel and a new black dash top. I Purchased this car
on the shear strength of its rarity and the volume of expensive parts and labor
expended. Unfortunately I purchased two other vehicles before the 900 delivered.
At 17 cars (and a very tough decision) I am selling the Carlsson for what I
invested. Don't miss the opportunity to own a fast disappearing low mileage,
rust and accident free example. Dyno'ed stock at 175bhp and 205f/tq. Estimate
with mods: 230 bhp. Engine: Block is stock with 93,000 miles, Cylinder head
ported, polished, valves tri-cut. New T3/T4 Hybrid turbo with TurboFord
Swing-gate mated to JSP 3 inch custom exhaust from turbo to tip, battery
re-located to back seat foot well, 3.0 FPR with SD red top injectors, Stage II
APC, new thermostat, fuel filter, SD Red Fuel pump, radiator and various hoses.
(JSP FMIC not installed; intercooler cost $1,000) , NO A/C; most parts are
there, working cruise, new clutch, Magnaflow hi-flo cat and muffler. Comes with
but not installed, Greddy Turbo boost and EGT gauges, Autometer water temp. and
oil pressure gauges. Also spare 2.1/2.3ltr cylinder head and a 2.1ltr intake
manifold. Exterior: Car is a rust/accident free vehicle except for drivers rear
quarter which got creased ($500 damage) needs a repaint; stock hood , and a
second custom carbon fiber unit by Yankton ($1,000); needs clear refinished,
euro headlights, Fuba antenna in stock location, 4 SPG wheels needing tires
Suspension: Brad of KC Saab, adjustable springs, Koni Red shocks. Swedish Auto
in Austin replaced clutch, front and rear main seals, and inner drivers
Interior: Headliner great. New in box ($600) black carpet set. Spare door cards
and knee bolster. Kenwood Excelon Anniversary Edition CD head unit with remote,
10 disc CD changer, 30-pin iPod/iPhone connection interface. Boston Acoustic
6x9's in the rear parcel shelf. Corbeau Racing seats, original and a spare
dash, both have cracks), MOMO steering wheel, RAZO pedal covers, custom white
Ultra Vires gauge covers (not installed), passenger passive restraint belt
replaced with manual belt (driver's side is in-tact but disabled), 4-point
harnesses are installed for both driver and passenger. Below is a photo gallery
and summary supplied by the prior owner.

- 1985 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 3/13/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 330,000 Price: $3500
2nd owner since 1990, very well maintained over the years, always garaged. Been a very reliable daily driver but time has come to let it go... reluctantly. Very fun to drive but we need to make room for another vehicle. We own 3 Saabs and an SUV! Would like to get the interest of another Saab enthusiast. I know its got high mileage but the engine/transmission/clutch has been changed out at @289,000 miles with a rebuilt one. Clutch was new. Turbo was rebuilt also. Has approx. 44,000 miles on that engine since then. Most other components/parts have been changed over the years as needed. A/C & heater all work good. Rebuilt steering rack also. Replaced sunroof seal and associated small components. New windshield. Too much to itemize here, have all receipts. Brakes are fine and also got a paint job 2 years ago. This car lived in a dry climate most of its life and has NO rust anywhere, a common problem elsewhere in the country. A few things that need eventually to be addressed: The shifter keeps popping out of gear 1-4, 5th is ok when decelerating, but can be avoided by holding it. Shifts fine otherwise, nothing wrong with the transmission according to a Saab mechanic. Does need a shifter linkage according to him.
Car eventually needs tires by the end of summer depending where it will be driven. Seats had been re-upholstered some years ago, driver seat should be redone, has some cracks etc, however not extreme. Please inquire for more details, no trades please.

- 1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 3/10/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: Malachite Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 246,000 Price: $8900 OBO
I'm officially putting my C900 up for sale. This car has tons of unique or very hard to find parts. Includes: Scanwest Stage II transmission with strengthened gears and quaife limited slip diff, T3 Super 60 turbo with external wastegate, 2.1 head and intake, completely tuned T5 conversion, recaro front seats and 9000 Aero rear seat, short shifter, momo steering wheel, etc... The engine was completely rebuilt two years ago with JE pistons along with a transmission refresh, including new pinion bearing and new syncros. The T5 ECU is amazing and completely dialed in. You can easily retune the system as you need with a laptop. The only bad part of the car is rust in the door corners, cracked dash, and the glovebox door delaminating. I have two extra doors I will throw in the deal. I also have a few extra parts included with the sale including the original 15" SPG wheels. Contact me for a link to my video or more detailed picts.

- 1989 Saab 900S (Posted 2/7/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 158,000 Price: $1950
I am selling my 1989 Saab 900S. New radio and speakers installed by Crutchfield, recently rebuilt engine and transmission by International Imports in Charlottesville, Michelin tires with excellent tread left, A/C has been converted to R134a but needs a new belt and refrigerant refill. VA state inspection is current and car is overall in good condition except for some rust on the fuel door and on the front fenders above the wheels. Like many antique cars it is in need of some minor repairs, but it runs great and drives straight. The odometer has not worked in several years and has been stuck on 158k miles. I would prefer to sell to a Saab enthusiast that would continue to enjoy this car as much as I have. I am only selling it because I do not have room for it. Please contact me with any questions or requests for more pictures.

New in the last 2 yrs/10k miles: new tires, calipers and rotors, rear upper shock mounts, all 4 shocks, plugs cap and rotor. A/C works, converted to 134a. Silver hood due to front end tap (previous owner). Front fenders and frame rails untouched. Runs great except for 30 second warmup stumble in certain temps. Would be a great commuter, ice racer, rusty turbo swap? More photos available.

- 1979 Saab 900 EMS (Posted 2/2/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 200,000 Price: $1200
1979 Saab 900 EMS project car, car was used as a rallycross car by the previous owner, but one of the valves bent during a race, top end of the engine was taken apart for a rebuild, with new valves installed, but didn't have time to finish and put everything back as he moved on to other projects. I bought the car with intention to but it back on the road and take it to 2017 Saab convention, but lost interest as I also have many projects in hand. This could be a doable project for anyone that is handy or I was quoted estimated $1200 to put everything back in running condition. Car comes with clean California title, straight body with no accidents, upgraded suspensions, euro headlights, performance headers. Could be a great runner for anyone that's interested in a rare one year only model, this car takes the best features of the 99 and 900 model. More photos and details for serious party only.

- 1987 Saab 900 8-Valve N.A. Hatchback (Posted 2/1/2017) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 72,000 Price: $2,950
California Car. 3-owner SAAB 900 that has spent its entire life in CA and with only 72,000 original miles. Naturally aspirated 8-valve engine is in great shape. Running Mobil 1 synthetic in it and no leaks. 5-speed manual transmission is in great shape with no issues. Bought the car with 60,000 miles last year and did a bit of work to it: New headliner, O2 sensor, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, all new engine belts, good brakes, 4 good tires. Daily driven the car for the past year with a few long trips and it has performed beautifully. No A/C (compressor works, but hasn't been converted to R134a refrigerant), but all other HVAC works and a strong heater. Very little oxidation for a classic SAAB. Comes with locking Thule racks as pictured. Also comes with a full new back-up set of braided 8-valve fuel injection lines (hard to find). Beautiful 900c inside and out and a strong daily driver that will last for years to come.

- 1991 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 1/23/2017) SOLD
Color: Cirrus White - Grey Ltr Trans: Manual Mileage: 165K Price: $2,250 OBRO
Rust Free. I bought this car last year and I put a lot of $$ into it - priced for quick sale - somewhat negotiable. Bought a '93 'Vert. Must sell for emotional reasons. *Full exhaust *Full rear brakes *New shocks *New tires *Fixed rear brake circuit *Redid heater control valve *New battery *New alternator *Stereo (some of which I may keep -- negotiable). What I would do next - the bad: *Some dash cracks. I have a nice carpet pad though it looks decent. *Power Steering Pump *Driver's seat is toast but sits fine -- will throw in a new $100 sheepskin. *One exhaust stud -- a front one is broken. Makes a funny sound when the engine is not warmed up otherwise No Big Deal. *There are the usual SAAB leaks but no coolant in oil or anything stupid. The car has the boost turned up and it is one of the faster Turbos I've owned -- The Convertible is my 10th SAAB, 9 C900s and 1 9000 Turbo. It has a 3-year registration title because the guys before me lost the title -- I can show you all of the bills of sale and there's no problem there whatsoever.

- 1992 Saab 900 4-Door Sedan (Posted 12/19/2016) SOLD
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 61,500 Price: $7,200
This is the outstanding deep medium green that Saab used in 1992, with a perfect light tan cloth interior, plus an excellent five-speed transmission. This car is very much like owning a new car and it has been maintained with great care and driven very carefully. I am putting my pride and joy up for sale and I hope that there will be another lifelong Saab owner who this will appeal to. If you have never owned one of what we now call a "900 Classic", this might be your last opportunity to own one that is about as close to new as you could get. If you cannot afford the price that I have listed, I encourage you to write and let's talk. I would like this to go to someone who will enjoy it for what it is, much as I do. I bought this 1992 900 four-door sedan in West Virginia in 2008 and it had 55,000 miles on the odometer at that time. I have the Carfax report, also, and I am the third owner. Originally purchased from a dealer in Lancaster PA, this car was purchased by a man in WV for his wife to drive. She had only a mile or so to get to work and within a couple of years, she apparently decided that she wanted a Prius HEV to be "green", and that's where I came into the picture. The owner had replaced the clutch when he bought it from the original owner, at 45,000 miles (!), and he was meticulous in the care he put into the car. On the day that I arrived to pick it up, he had had another $450.00 in work done to make sure that everything was just right -- and there are not many people who would do that, when he already had my full payment. I have driven the car only in weather after the winter is long gone and before any snow and salt arrives, so summer only. The previous owner had also not le this wife drive winter (again, (!)), so this car has not seen snow since 2006, if not before There is no visible rust and there have been no accidents. Massachusetts state inspection (mechanical, environmental) completed on December 12, 2016. Passed with flying colors. I replaced tires and all four are Michelin MXVs in perfect condition; I would estimate 80% tread left. I also have had both the master and slave clutch cylinders replaced in 2016, and a heavy deep-draw battery installed in November 2015. I have all of my own maintenance records and some from the previous owner. There is one tiny ding about the driver's side rear taillight, where someone must have backed into something in the garage; it is not visible unless you examine the area carefully to find it. There is a dent on the underside of the driver's door, but no rust. The roof is showing the white bleaching that this color was known for and you may choose in some later year to have the roof (only) repainted. That is the only exterior blemish. Everything works, although the a/c needs either recharging or a component replacement, so typical of these. The radio power mast has decided to quit working last month, and those are $26.00 brand-new on Ebay. The ceiling liner is in perfect condition; the dash has the usual 900 cracks, but I have a new replacement molded cover inserted so it looks fine. All of the controls, heater, blower, turn signals, etc., all work fine. This car is a pleasure to drive and the five-speed is especially good for acceleration in second and third gears; I have gotten as much as 33 MPG in all-highway driving on long trips! This is like driving a new car. No squeaks, no shudders, no flapping or loose exhaust parts. It is a solid car and I cannot tell you how many people have commented on just the sound of the doors closing! The very solid "thunk" is very obvious, when compared to new cars that are built today. It is a Saab. I have owned twelve Saabs and this is by far the most like a new one that I have ever owned. I also have a 1993 900S and a 2005 9-5 wagon, my first "new gen" car. I am inundated with furniture after cleaning out my parents' house, in addition to furniture leftover from my own divorce, and I am forced to make some decisions to reduce the sheer volume of posessions that I have in my house. More photos and information available on request via email.

Whale tail spoiler (not the smaller ducktail). 221,000 miles (odometer is in kms ~355k). Purchased from original family owner 6+ years ago. Always mature owned and driven. Was my daily driver on 100+km/day commute for almost 6 years, took it off the road to preserve it. Transmission replaced with used rebuilt one last year. Some rust (front passenger fender will need attention) but the typical worrisome places (i.e., the control arm areas) were professionally repaired 3-4 years ago by Pro Gas Engineering. Includes original SPG wheels x6 and tires, 8 spoke Ronals for the later model 900 (super rare) with mounted winters (on the car now, see pic). Red box APC, slightly bigger injectors (30 lb), custom fuel chip, small FMIC, Saab sport steering wheel, OEM burled walnut shifter knob, OEM fog lights with protective grilles, ac delete, power windows and sunroof, smooth low idle. I have owned seven classic Saab 900 models, five of them SPGs. I love them. But it's time to pass the torch to another Saab lover. Please note: car does not have clear corners any longer. Stock front corners are in place. Email if interested. I will get back to you as soon as I can. International buyer responsible for export. Thank you!

- 1982 Saab 900S Sedan (Posted 11/26/2016) SOLD
Color: Slate Blue Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 89,000 Price: $3900
Very clean all original driver condition car that I have thoroughly enjoyed cruising around town w my girl - really turns heads and garners compliments! Car looks fantastic in and out (happy to send you more pics). Headliner intact, typical covered cracked dash, velour upholstery in excellent condition for age. I have installed a custom simons cat back exhaust, new cat, restored turbo front spoiler, fog lights (need to be wired in), custom fender flares, new Dunlop sport rubber. Car shifts nicely and sounds fantastic with exhaust. No rocket being an na 8v but a fun cruiser. Minor oil drips but nothing dramatic. Minor spot rust on front fenders (covered by flares)and very minor surface rust in spots but not a rotted out car for sure. AC only holds Freon for 1 season. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner flat nose sedan on the market imho. Car needs to go for next project (maybe a lancia?)....thanks for looking!
