1987 Saab 900 3 Door Hatchback (Posted 5/3/2016)
Color: Rose Quartz Trans: Manual Mileage: 84,400 Price: $4900
I acquired this, originally purchased in March '87 at Countryside Saab in MN from original owner who passed. Hadn't moved in 5 years and sat in her garage. Avg mileage 3,000/yr. I towed home, siphoned fuel, added new, changed fuel filter, replaced the leaking accumulator. Got running in 20 min. After a tank of gas and a can of Jectron to clean fuel system, it runs like new. I have all maintenance history from the dealership along with the original window sticker of $15K. I'm testing the AC compressor this week, and other than the antenna, everything works. There is very minor surface rust on the gas cap, and along the interior of the driver rocker where the rubber meets the frame. The interior is the NICEST of any vintage Saab I've owned or seen, and I've owned 7 Saabs. Paint shines, no dash cracks, brand new Bridgestone Potenzas, no oil leaks, and the headliner looks like it was installed yesterday. I wish I could keep this but the wife says our kids need airbags in our cars. Call or email to discuss. Thank you. See link for more details and photos:

1991 Saab 900S (Posted 4/29/2016)
Color: Platana Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 182,500 Price: $6,000
Runs very well. All shocks replaced at 155K. Clutch replaced at 169K. Exhaust system at 180K. Plugs, cap, rotor and airbag replaced at 182K. AC adapted and recharged with R132a. No leaks. Headliner is new in 2016. DEQ is current. One rust spot above right rear wheel well. We are second owner - purchased in 1998. We have all maintenance records from original purchase to present. Original owner's manual with 900 catalog and 900 16 Valve Official Service Manual 1985 through 1993. Everything works except: Power locks, heated seats, and unreliable passenger window switch. Fog lights were removed because of vulnerability. Have both. One fog light is missing glass. We have the Clarion made for SAAB tape deck; Alpine MP3/WMA CD Receiver is installed. We have extra full size wheel and tire. We are selling because purchased a Nissan LEAF and, although we love the SAAB, we are hardly driving it anymore and fear it will suffer from lack of use.

1987 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 4/27/2016)
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: N/A Price: $11k Firm
Hello fellow saabers. I bought this car off of saabnet about two years ago in Virginia. It had no rust but basically didn't run. Since then I did a ground-up mechanical restoration, rebuilt engine, rebuilt trans, rebuilt turbo, rebuilt brakes, suspension, everything. I spared no expense and put in only the highest quality. I also put on SPG wheels, removed the AC (it was going to be my winter car but it's too damn nice for winter) and installed a very nice Alpine bluetooth/subwoofer sound system. It looks great (see pics) but, if you really wanted a full restoration, there are a few areas you would want to have painted. But ultimately it turns heads and is a lot of fun to drive. The problem is, I have four beautiful saabs and, one of them has to go. The SPG is staying, the restored 9000 is staying, and the 900 turbo convertible is staying, so the red fox is up for sale. I have over $8000 of receipts from the last 16 months - looking to break even and a little labor recompense. Don't bother with offers, price is firm. Garaged in NJ.

1993 Saab 900 S Hatchback (Posted 4/27/2016)
Color: Citron Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: 91,688 Price: $5900
Before I extol the virtues of my SAAB, does anyone recognize where I took these pictures? If you are a SAAB enthusiast in northern NJ, this should bring back happy memories. I have owned many SAABs, still do and intend to continue. I bought this car from its original owner who only had it dealer serviced and fixed everything immediately. I have all of his records (and mine). When SAAB's news was dire and his dealer indicated that they had to move on, he was concerned about parts availability and decided to sell the car. Since then, I exclusively have my SAABs serviced by Sweet Motors and this car has only been in Jerry Sweet's capable hands. When it had problems, Jerry fixed it, sometimes amazingly so. For example, did you know that the 2nd gear synchro is almost impossible to find? Jerry found an NOS that was recently installed in this car. The A/C has been upgraded to R134a, the exhaust replaced, the brakes are up to date, only synthetic oil changes every 3k miles. I have another 900 and a beloved 9000 so the time has come to try one of the "newer" SAABs before they too disappear!

1993 Saab 900S (Posted 4/25/2016) SOLD
Color: Plantana Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 224k Price: $800
The good: Quite, strong transmission and clutch; new fuel pump; new crank pulley, belts, and seals; new valve cover gasket; new ball joints, both sides; new front wheel bearings, both sides; new fan switch and thermostat; new tires on SPG rims; extra set of studded snows on Saab alloys; recent rust repair in front fenders; A-arm areas solid; floor pans solid; good USB/Bluetooth receiver; new front brake pads/rotors/calipers; new cat-back exhaust (could use some tightening up with some welds, I just clamped it); E-codes; thule rack. Not so good: slow coolant leak; faded clear coat on hood, roof and trunk; sagging headliner; torn leather seats; rear defrost doesn't work. Solid car, if not the prettiest around. I fluid filmed it and drove it through the winter.
1986 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 4/20/2016) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: High Price: $500
Solid fairly rust free southern true SPG with bad 3rd gear. Runs enough to get onto a trailer. Minor floor holes in rear passenger area, right and left. Control arm areas. No title, sold for parts or restore with bill of sale only. No exhaust from the cat back. Must have been hit in rear at some point, repair 9 out of 10. Car needs a respray if you are keeping it. Too many projects so this one needs to go.
1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 4/19/2016)
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 230K Price: $2500
Fairly solid example of a C900 daily driver. Colorado car that has been in MN for the past 6 years, with the only winter driving, from Jan. of this year. Had some rust when I purchased in 2011. Passenger rear wheel well and passenger door, just above bottom seal. The interior cloth pieces recovered last year. Leather in real good condition. Many new parts. Rear calipers, brake hoses, most engine hoses, alternator, steering rack and Hyd. lines, front rubber suspension parts and numerous seals and gaskets. Starts, runs, shifts and drives very well. Does use a little oil. I have a number extra small parts that are available. I realize the somewhat remote location could be an issue, but very wiling to meet or come to you, if in the MN, IA,ND, SD, WI and a serious buyer.

1985 Saab 900 S Notchback (Posted 4/16/2016)
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: Est. 170k Price: $3000
Rare 1985 900s notchback (two-door coupe) for sale in Colorado. Good overall condition with a full tune-up recently performed by East of Sweden Saab in Broomfield, CO, including replaced ECU, new O2 sensor, replaced underhood fuel lines and redone wiring. The car runs and drives well and shifts smoothly. The headliner was reupholstered and isn't sagging anywhere and the interior is generally clean although the dash has the usual c900 cracks. New windshield in great shape. The car came from Montana originally and is very clean and rust-free. Slight collision damage on the front left fender (pictured) that isn't really noticeable, otherwise completely straight. Original paint isn't bad considering the age and shines up nicely. Would make a great daily driver or a fun candidate for a 16v turbo swap. Please call, text or email for more info. Car is located in Broomfield, CO (about 45 minutes from DIA). My asking price includes an additional set of shelby goldvanes and super incas, NOS rear decklid spoiler and spg springs. Many additional parts available also available, happy to discuss.

1993 Saab 900 S (Posted 4/13/2016)
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 79,950 Price: $2500 OBO
16 valve, 2.1L 4-door sedan. No rust, no accidents, garaged it's entire life until the past 9 months after it was gifted to a granddaughter. Functioning cruise control, A/C, pristine tan leather seats, no broken knobs. Engine looks and runs great; solid on the road. New water pump, primary belt, muffler, and relatively new tires (<1800 miles). Rear headliner is sagging but not torn. Antenna gets stuck. Recently started occasionally losing reverse. Had the transmission bands adjusted and remains drivable, but foreshadows a new transmission. The reason we are selling is because of this repair -- and the love required to maintain it -- exceeds granddaughter's budget. Original manuals in a SAAB pouch. More photos available; email for info.

1991 Saab 900 Turbo SPG & '91 900 Convertible (Posted 4/10/2016)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 76,000 Price: $4500
The price includes two cars. The convertible runs and drives but has no reverse. The body is fair. It does have a rust hole on the passenger side floor. The right front control arm area is intact but does show some rust perforation. The interior is fair. The driver seat is pretty worn with holes in it. The second car is a 1990 SPG. The body on the SPG is totally shot due to rust. It runs and yard drives but is unsafe for the road. There are no front seats and the dash has been picked apart. Everything else is there. It has a good drivetrain. The convertible can be driven but it would be best to tow both cars. Although the convertible has SPG wheels it is not an SE or SIS car.

1987 Saab 900 (Posted 4/8/2016)
Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 135,000 Price: $500
Four door with maroon interior, good condition for age. Has the 8 valve engine. No major rust. sagging headliner. Has new clutch, new brake system, new fuel pump. Alloy rims plus set of four steel rims with hubcaps, extra muffler. One control arm was replaced also. Was running fine until sat for about two years. Engine turns over fine, gets spark, seems to be a fuel issue. Prefer to sell car but will consider negotiated trade for a Saab 95 or 96, or a Volvo 142, 144 or 145.

1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 4/5/2016) SOLD
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 194,000 Price: $850
Project or daily driver, you choose. 5 speed, new clutch, new tires, new motor mounts, a/c close to working. Runs well, salvage title (due to lost title at salvage yard), needs paint, no rust and very few dings or dents. Suspension might need updating. Turbo blows nicely. New battery, smogged & registered thru feb of next year. Sunroof, power windows, leather in decent shape for age. Best offer, must go to someone that has time to continue restoration. The car indeed runs well, however, it needs work, and is priced accordingly. Please, do not expect a collectable car, priced as it is, to be in perfect running order. If you are looking for a Saab 900 Turbo that is running in perfect condition, or looks showroom new, i strongly suggest you pay much more and get what you want in another vehicle.

1992 Saab 900 2.1 l. 16valve Non-Turbo Hatchback (Posted 3/27/2016)
Color: Nocturne Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 192,000 Price: $2100
Swedish War Pony. 5-speed manual. Still strong, mighty, indomitable. Runs perfectly, fun to drive. Has various quirks as one might expect from a distinguished veteran: (no seat heater, only one remote mirror adjust working, headlight wipers removed, etc., cosmetic issues) Some shift wear but not bad enough to fix. But very good mechanically, no serious motor, tranny or other mechanical issues. Well maintained (much of that work done by Swedish Saab Svc in Brooklyn). New Batt and alt. Safe to drive, Inspection up to date. Body's starting to go with a couple of rust-through spots developing, deserves attention in that department, I lack the time... Price incl. two sets of tires and rims: Conti Pro Contacts on Ronal SAAB rims on the car now, plus very new set of Goodyear Ultra Grip Snow tires on steel rims. SAAB OEM (Thule-made) roof rack and Barre ski rack both incl., both w new lock cylinders. Very cool car that starts right up and goes like a champ; great deal for someone who knows and loves SAABs.

1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition (Posted 3/23/2016)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 155,708 Price: $2500 OBO
Rare SAAB 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition with 16 Valve 185 hp engine. NOT RUNNING! Clutch slave cylinder failed in early Feb. and has been sitting since then. Fix this and it will run fine. Car is an excellent restoration candidate, and, as one of the rare "commemorative editions", is one of the finest SAABs ever made, and deserves to be restored. Interior is in ok condition, but dashboard cracked. Needs new paint. Small amount of rust on window sills, and on the hood. Suspension is excellent. Transmission smooth. Electrical not problematic. Brakes were recently refurbished. Brand new front tires. Engine leaking oil but performing well. Needs tune-up!

1988 Saab 900 Turbo Liftback (Posted 3/19/2016)
Color: Blue-Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 192K Price: $2000
Selling my Saab 900 Turbo. I have owned it for eight or so years, and most of that time it has had a spot in my garage. I no longer have a garage space for it, and am not really enthusiastic about selling it, but I don't want it to spend more time in a parking lot outside and exposed. The interior leather is in great shape, all floor mats. Does need new headliner, and is developing rust on the driver's side front wheel-well. The dash is cracked, but I have a clean nearly perfect dash that I would be willing to sell with it for an additional $150. It has been very reliable, and I have kept it maintained, including proper starting/stopping protocols for the turbo. Right now it has a full set of stock wheels with studded snow tires, and I have a set of 4 nicer wheels (Saab SilverVane by Ronal 6Jx15 h2 - complete with emblem) with summer tires (Pirelli P6 plus) I would consider including with the Saab for an additional $1000. I hope to get it to an owner who can appreciate and care for it. More photos upon request.

1989 Saab 900 Turbo Hatchback (Posted 3/11/2016)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: About 185,000 Price: $1100
I'm selling my Black 1989 Saab 900 3-door Turbo Hatchback. Owned since 1999, was only the 2nd owner. I've been EXCLUSIVELY a SAAB driver since my first, bought brand new in 1986, and still have 2 others currently. Unfortunately this car has an ignition problem I had someone working on without results. With 2 other saabs, 2 mazdas, and a dodge van in my driveway (2 sons), I just need to move this quickly. This SAAB is best sold as a "Parts Car, As is", or a restore project if someone is so inclined. I really want this car to go to good use either way. Although the seats, dash and interior panels are fine, the overall interior is all taken apart to work on the ignition, so it's in very bad shape inside. The engine and transmission were fine when last driven. The body panels are in good shape except some quarter panel rust. The headlights and rear tail lights are in good shape. Electrical systems were fine. I haven't driven this car in two years. Buyer must tow. I'll take any reasonable offer from someone who will do something respectable with it.

1985 Saab 900 3 Door Base (Posted 3/9/2016) SOLD
Color: Azure Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 250,000 Price: $2000 OBO
Selling my '85 900 8v non-turbo. I bought this car about 6 months ago as my first foray into Saab ownership. I’m selling because I am looking for a turbo. Runs and drives nicely. I use it to run errands around town, random weekend drives, and occasionally to commute to work (100+ miles round trip.) Some new parts recently installed. The body is in great shape but has been repainted, a shade darker than the original but very similar. The respray was hastily done, but the car looks good. Rare color. The body has no rust. However, the floorpan has a few holes beginning to develop. The car was sold new in South Carolina and has been in the south its entire life. I have all of the original manuals and a folder full of documents going back to when the car was purchased new. The interior is clean but needs some love. The headliner is fairly new. The car needs a few things, but nothing major. Get in and drive. All in all, this is a very solid classic 900, ready for a new owner. More pics available. Email for more info.
1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 3/8/2016)
Color: Special Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 172,873 Price: $5,000 OBO
1988 900 SPG Turbo in Fair Condition. This is a Southern Car that was my daily driver and my project until daughter #4 arrived. But now I have to let it go as is. No upgrades, no modifications just factory spec including the RED APC Box as it should be. I have taken this car all the way down to the bare frame and found only a tiny spot of rust on the window frame. It has been in the garage for a year and has traditional SAAB issues: headliner sags, driver seat has a couple of holes, clear coat is peeling, dash is cracked. It will be a great project for someone with more time than me.

1986 Saab 900 S Notchback (Posted 2/22/2016) SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 151,000 Price: $2500
I tried to relive my beloved 86 notch (330K miles, RIP) but after going turbo it just isn't the same. A solid example of the notchback with low miles. It has a clean interior, a redone headliner, and most everything works: Cruise, antenna, power windows, AC, power mirrors. The previous owner kept it clean, and it runs and drives as it should. It does have eccentricities: cranky starting (my old one did too), the paint is faded, cracked dash, the blinker doesn't stay on, and the key can be pulled out while driving. I put new wheel bearings on the back, and it has SPG rims or the original wheels (your choice). I need to get pads up front and will work on that. It's a good solid car, but is old and has some issues: Needs passenger side axle (torn cv joint boot, no clicking), front brake pads (I will work on getting those on), a windshield (spare included), and emergency brake doesn't work. SPG tires are ok but old, original rims have bad tires. Certainly eligible for historic tags in MD, which I had. Check out more pics: Click Here, and email me questions.

The engine looks and runs great, transmission shifts perfectly, Toyo tires are nearly brand new, new brakes, new muffler, retrofitted A/C easily tackles the Texas heat, new headliner, new battery. The interior is 10/10 - I've never seen a cleaner Saab interior, no cracks, no fading, no broken knobs, perfect. The seats are cloth and also in mint condition, no tears and no stains. Up for sale is my 1986 SAAB SPG. The body is in good shape with no rust that I am aware of. It came from down south. The interior looks good with some deterioration of the dash. The seats are in excellent condition. I bought this car to restore, but I have several other cars and no time to work on them with a recent Job change. This would make a GREAT car for someone to restore. Feel free to email with Any questions. I can also email pictures of anything you would like to see.
1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 1/17/2016) SOLD

Beautiful 900 turbo for sale. Runs well and recently passed Virginia state inspection with no issues. Exterior in good shape. New tires with less than 3,000 miles on them. Black leather interior in very good condition. Normal wear on the driver's seat, but otherwise the seats look like new. Headliner recently replaced. Overall, a great car for any Saab enthusiast. Happy to provide more pictures or information.
1987 Saab 900 Base (Posted 1/14/17) SOLD
Color: blue Trans: Manual Mileage: Approx 170,000 Price: $900 OBO
Base model 900 made to look like a turbo. It has the 8 valve N/A engine. Will need all four brakes, exhaust, cabin fan and most likely a new battery to be road worthy. Engine is strong though. Probably best for parts but definitely could be restored and would be a great daily driver. I enjoyed it and would keep it, but I have too many Saabs now. Selling as whole car. Will need to be towed. Very flexible on price. Email me any questions!
1987 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 1/10/2016) SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 240,000 Price: $2800
Inspected until December 2016. It's been my daily driver for over a year, receiving a ton of attention in that time. Traveled about 40,000 in that time. Traveled from Philadelphia to Denver in back in May 2015. 4,000 miles in two weeks. Transmission as replaced several years ago, Cooling system overhauled with new radiator, thermostat, fans and fan switch. Brake system overhauled in August 2014, Fuel Pump last week and so much more. There is some rust in the wheel wells that is under encapsulator for now. It hasn't spread yet.
1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 1/9/2016) SOLD
Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 235,000 Price: $6000 OBO
For sale is my 1991 Beryl Green SPG near Vancouver BC. You know the story on these...1 of only 109 SPGs imported to North America in this color in 1991. Owned since September 2012. Purchased from Portland, OR and imported to Canada. Drive tunnels, fenders, under-door areas are rust free. Clean summer driver that needs someone to take it to the proverbial next level. During my ownership I've replaced the headliner, renewed the brakes and most of the cooling system components plus sundry other things including the clutch (slave, clutch, pressure plate). Wheels are refurbished Aeros in beautiful shape. Tires are Continentals with lots of life. Transmission shifts smoothly. This car should be viewed as a driveable project for the serious Saab person willing to invest to make it a real show car. It has some door dings and needs work but is very driveable (I drove it 6 hours from Portland to Canada when I bought it in 2012 and use it as a daily driver in summer months for round trips of 60 miles per day to/from work). Price: $6000 US. Please respond by email. VIN: YS3Al35L8M5000667. Buyer responsible for import/export. CARFAX is clean but there is evidence of previous minor body repair above the passenger wheel well (paint crack).
1989 Saab 900 Turbo Carlsson (Posted 1/9/2016) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 93,325 Price: $3000
1989 Saab 900Turbo Carlsson In need of a new good home! This was a daily driver turned project car, then moth-balled for finishing later. Now is later, and I don’t have the time. Tons of upgrades and extra parts. Not all are currently installed. This 900 needs work, but not to get her running. It has not been registered or on the road in since 2009. I have changed the oil and coolant when needed and started the motor up to operating temps. I have most records of when it was worked on by Swedish Auto in Austin, TX. Other maintenance was done myself. See my membership profile for Details and more pictures:
I will be uploading more pictures of it's current state in the coming days.
