- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 11/29/2016)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 221,000 Price: $4350
Whale tail spoiler (not the smaller ducktail). 221,000 miles (odometer is in kms ~355k). Purchased from original family owner 6+ years ago. Always mature owned and driven. Was my daily driver on 100+km/day commute for almost 6 years, took it off the road to preserve it. Transmission replaced with used rebuilt one last year. Some rust (front passenger fender will need attention) but the typical worrisome places (i.e., the control arm areas) were professionally repaired 3-4 years ago by Pro Gas Engineering. Includes original SPG wheels x6 and tires, 8 spoke Ronals for the later model 900 (super rare) with mounted winters (on the car now, see pic). Red box APC, slightly bigger injectors (30 lb), custom fuel chip, small FMIC, Saab sport steering wheel, OEM burled walnut shifter knob, OEM fog lights with protective grilles, ac delete, power windows and sunroof, smooth low idle. Headliner in great shape, leather seats not torn, paint nice, oil changed very regularly at 5000kms. NGK BCP7EV plugs with Bougicord wires, coolant flushed every couple of years, radiator and most of the cooling system renewed upon purchase (just because), runs cool with twin fan engagement, Kurbads short shifter (very precise), clutch done a couple of years ago, turbo pulls nicely into the red... car is well maintained and runs nicely. I have owned seven classic Saab 900 models, five of them SPGs. I love them. But it's time to pass the torch to another Saab lover. Please note: car does not have clear corners any longer. Stock front corners are in place. Email if interested. I will get back to you as soon as I can. International buyer responsible for export. Thank you!

Great body, no rust EXCEPT in LF jack port(?), all wheel arches are SOLID! Interior swapped* for SAAB Beige Leather (my preference), only needs headliner. Seats* in very good shape, only driver's shows normal wear. Have plush mats. Dash pad is cracked, but solid one goes with car. All gauges work except speedo. AM-FM Cassette OE radio, console and equalizer. Radio checked by SAAB RADIO. SPG wheels* are excellent, NO rash(!) on newer GOODYEAR TRIPLE TREADS. Noisy tranny (needs), frozen heater valve, ignition works with screwdriver. Stored last year, drove in from car show, dry, covered, storage since then. Turns over but now will NOT start. Has NEW BATTERY. Full tank of treated fuel. Have MY service file for car, including owner's pack, rare SAAB accessories bag. Have factory hard bound service books, will negotiate with car. I have limited mobility, hence cannot do car work. * (I've done my own detailing, parts swapped for better condition, even nuts & bolts, etc. I sorted thru 21 SPG wheels to select these 4 wheels!).

Very clean all original driver condition car that I have thoroughly enjoyed cruising around town w my girl - really turns heads and garners compliments! I have installed a custom simons cat back exhaust, new cat, restored turbo front spoiler, fog lights (need to be wired in), custom fender flares, new Dunlop sport rubber. Car shifts nicely and sounds fantastic with exhaust. No rocket being an na 8v but a fun cruiser. Minor oil drips but nothing dramatic. Minor spot rust on front fenders (covered by flares)and very minor surface rust in spots but not a rotted out car for sure. AC only holds Freon for 1 season. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner flat nose sedan on the market imho. Car needs to go for next project (maybe a lancia?)....thanks for looking!

I'm looking for a new caretaker for my 1990 SPG. It is such a wonderful car and I've enjoyed working on it but I'm going to focus on other projects now. Strong preference for another Saab-nut to take and cherish. It cannot be sold to someone who wants it as a daily driver. This is a completely rust-free SPG. It has never seen winter/salt. It lived in Oregon and southern WA its entire life and, since it has been shipped to NYS in 2014, it has been stored as a garage queen. I have done an extensive replacement and update of almost all systems (see complete craigslist listing below) and I've focused on keeping it in stock configuration (except as noted in the complete listing):

- 1991 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 10/16/2016)
Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 159,500 Price: $5,500
Last year of the SPG, with Beryl Green being the best and rarest. I purchased this car in Maine and drove it across the country, which attests for its dependability. No engine lights in the dash remain illuminated upon start-up. Interior is pretty clean; seats are in good shape but the headliner is sagging. Original Clarion radio with power antenna works. Dash has a few cracks. Exterior body has some dings on the rear hatch. The rest of the body is overall pretty clean. Work since I've owned the car includes oil changes, alternator and belts, water pump, intake manifold gasket, radiator fan, fuel rail washers, headlight relay, horn buttons, battery, sunroof and window block switches replaced. Cruise control works well. Slight oil leak. Transmission shifts well and does not pop out of gear. Dash reads 159,000 miles but car has a strong engine from a 93' convertible with 135,000 miles. Work was done by the previous owner who was a SAAB mechanic. Car has minimal underbody rust for a northern kept 900, the spot that commonly rusts out has been rust proofed and coated.

- 1985 Saab 900 (Posted 10/10/2016) SOLD
Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 32,500 Price: $4,450
All-original, incredibly low-mileage survivor always in the Mid-Atlantic region. Very clean, no rust, always serviced. As new except for recent replacement radio and tires. Many good things and only a short list of less good: 8v engine is spirited and smooth. Transmission shifts as new in all gears. Blue paint is nice. Exterior trims are clean. Interior is sharp - blue/grey cloth, headliner and carpets very good. Everything works - A/C, Heat, gages, lights, seats, windows, etc. Original tool kit still in trunk. Spare tire has never seen the road. Original manuals and keys. Showing slight wear on original steel wheels, a few dash cracks as expected (under a custom carpet cover), trim on dash is beginning to peel, slight fading on drivers window sill, slight aging on front grille and badges. None of these detract and are easily updated. Just had a complete inspection by a vintage Saab specialist - only needed a new alternator and minor brake adjustment. Passed Virginia safety inspection thru September 2017. This is an amazing car. I have three other 900s and simply don't have proper storage for this one. Hope a true enthusiast will give it a proper home. More photos available in classified gallery:
- 1992 Saab Classic 900-Base Model (Posted 10/4/2016) SOLD
Color: Citron Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: 117,XXX Price: $1500
A California car now in Maine the last 2 years. This car mostly sat in California from the early 2000's until mid 2014. Extensive maintenance was done in 2013-14. Runs and drives as it should, cold AC, tires are good. Passed Maine safety inspections without a hiccup. Recently serviced areas include: starter, alternator, water pump, accumulator, radiator, clutch, brakes, axle boots and more. Upgrades: leather convertible steering wheel, Pioneer CD player, plush 9000 cloth front seats, 15 spoke alloy wheels, extra pair of alloys with new snow tires. The not quite perfect: SRS is off, some light wrinkles on the doors. It is currently registered in Maine. As an older Maine car it doesn't have a title. I'm listing this car for my older brother who is the registered owner. You can call me on my California cell phone. I'll keep some extra pictures on my cell phone that could be sent on request. Don't have email access right now, please call or text. See my Saabnet.com Site Member photo gallery for more photos:

Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 262,000 Price: $500
I have had this car since 1995 and am the 2nd owner. It used to be my reliable daily driver until recently and I have maintained it regularly. The good: it is a California car without any rust or body damage. The interior is in great shape for its age. It has many good parts that have become difficult to find such as a new brake accumulator and a functioning OEM fuel sender. The bad: it is not running, probably needs a new head gasket, and the paint is worn, especially the roof and hood. The registration is current until December. I don't have the time to fix it and already have too many other project cars. Hopefully somebody can take this project and save it for future generations.

Great car, daily driver (minimal), in almost 30 years averages about 22 mpg.

when driving. Always garaged, when it wasn't, it had a car cover. AC needs
service, not blowing cold, 3rd headliner sags, tiny leak in power steering rack.
No dents, no rust, always in southern California. 24 pictures available upon

It's an extra car 'cool/unique' daily driver for the family. I've owned the vehicle for 10 months. In the past 7 months invested around 2K to trust and use as a daily driver. It's working very well. Other than a few cosmetic flaws internally (cracks in dash), this SAAB is in amazing shape. All power windows and sunroof work. I'm the third owner. I have the owners manual and all the service paperwork for everything that's been done since new. Most recent areas that were addressed for safety, drivability, and trust: Rear Brakes - New Calipers, Rotors, and Pads (front brakes are good). Heat shield over Catalytic converter. Fuel Pressure Regulator. Fuel Ignition Tune-up (Plugs, Wires, Cap, and Rotor). Mass Air Flow Sensor. Oil Change. Areas recently addressed before me and still in good shape: Exhaust. Tires. Mechanical and body are rock solid. Things could be addressed if you care to: Radio antenna - Parking Brake Cable - AC. Open to serious interest and offers. Clean title in hand. Roof rack not included.

This is a solid car with minimal rust. I bought it a couple of years ago to restore. The drive train has been rebuilt. It runs great, uses no oil, doesn't smoke, shifts smoothly. I replaced belts, hoses and water pump as preventive measures. I stripped and painted entire car. The paint quality is very good and could be show quality with a little work. The front leather has been replaced. The sunroof has been refurbished and the headliner has been replaced. The dash was recovered. The dash is about as good as you can get without having a professional restoration. The a/c has an electrical issue. I have evacuated and replaced the Freon 134. I replaced all of the orings. I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's and am getting rid of projects. Hopefully this will be a show car someday. It is a rare model. I doubt if there are more than about 10 left.

Car with good bones. I've owned 2 model 96's (one of them a two-stroke), three 900S's and still have a Viggen. I want to give this car a chance with a SAAB person before trying other means of selling it. Front end corner was clipped as it was parked. Mishap exceeded blue book value. I bought it back from insurance company, replaced front bumper and headlight pod. Corner damage on hood remains, see picture. This resulted in "salvage title" in Maryland. Recent work includes new clutch and slave, new head gasket, new crank position sensor. New fuel pump. Engine runs well. Always did for the 14 years that I have had it. ABS light just came on although anti-lock appears to work fine. Some hood rust beginning along the flanks. Dash cracks abound, no head liner. Chain that operates accelerator for cruise control missing. AC very weak. No fluid leaks according to my driveway.

Color: Rose Quartz Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 300,333 Price: $800
Selling a 1987 Saab 900 4 door. It has just over 300K miles on the car. I am the original owner of the car, and have used it as my daily driver to work and back for 29 years. The car has been garaged for most of its life. The car shows sign of wear and tear, as expected with a 29 year old car. It runs well, and according to my mechanic, could go for another 100K miles. The top of the dashboard has cracks, and the headliner has tears and sun damage in the back. I have the paperwork for the lifetime of the car. The oil has been changed every 4000 miles since new. I also have an extra set of wheels with mounted snow tires that can be added to the sale for $200 more. It no longer has the stock stereo, though I do have 2 aftermarket stereos that can be used in the car. This has been a good car to me, and am sorry to see it go.
- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 9/13/2016) SOLD
Color: Talladega Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 163,000 Price: $5,000
I am the second owner and bought this SPG in 2006 with 139k miles. The odometer/speedometer was rebuilt in 2008 at 154k miles after it failed and was set to "0". Currently the odometer reads 8xxx miles. In 2006, she was in good shape, garaged by her 1st owner all of her life. Despite that, her 1st 16 years of daily service left its fair share of blemishes. Since I have owned it, I have done extensive work to her, and she has lived in an enclosed garage. This car is modified, but cosmetically unchanged. Some of the more notable work done include: 2007: New headliner, 3" turbo back stainless exhaust by Jak Stoll, Swedish Dynamics APC, Swedish dynamics clutch. 2008: new paint, refurbished 16" Aero wheels, relocated rear axle 1 cm forward, dash restored by Just Dashes, NOS e-code headlights, functional headlamp washers (what can I say, I think they are cool). 2009: Jak Stoll EPROM, wood veneer dash fascia. 2011: Front Mounted Intercooler, Kurbads short shifter, 9000 front rotors and calipers. 2012: replaced radiator, steering rack rear brake pads. The exterior is a 9.5/10. The interior is 8.5 (seats are original and have some wear). The mechanicals are 8-ish/10, and the engine and transmission are original. Everything works. Her only issues are: AC still R12. It works, but the compressor has a small leak at the shaft and the clutch will slip if not cleaned periodically. The valve cover gasket has an oil leak (not the head gasket, that's been checked and is good). I have her cared for by an Annapolis Saab Master Mechanic (he took care of my 1st Saab in 1987, and every Saab since). Rust was repaired under the battery, done expertly by Lititz auto (Saab experts) in PA in 2010. I have never raced her. I am a 45+ yo gearhead who likes to tinker, hence the modifications. I have done dyno runs at SOC and Carlisle (230 WHP). I have videos where you can hear her sweet, sweet sound. A good, loving home, with someone who understands Saabs is vital for a sale. I am selling her partly due to a growing family, but I also lack the time to give her the attention she deserves (driven less than 400 miles since 2012).

Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 128,577 Price: $4900 OBO
Selling my 1991 900 Turbo 3 Door Hatch with sunroof, very reluctantly. Original owner, nonsmoker, very clean car in and out. Runs extremely well and turbo still working great. Upholstery (Tan Leather) in very good shape, minor wear. Has all original components (Saab radio and equalizer). All work done by Saab Techs (original Seattle Saab dealer, or Scanwest Auto). Car has been pampered and spent most of life in garage or covered parking. I have all maintenance records. Headliner has not been repaired. No rust. AC works great. New tires and battery. Selling because I use light rail for commuting now and don’t need a second car. All records of maintenance/repairs. Warts: headliner sags, minor crack in dash. Clear coat on hood peeling.

Serviced religiously over the past 34 years by the same Saab Master Mechanic (he even did the pre-delivery inspection)! Totally original. - 1985 Saab 900 S Notchback (Posted 8/23/2016) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: Est. 170k Price: $2000 OBO
Rare 1985 900s notchback (two-door coupe) for sale in Colorado. Good overall
condition with a full tune-up recently performed by East of Sweden Saab in
Broomfield, CO, including replaced ECU, new O2 sensor, replaced underhood fuel
lines and redone wiring. The car runs and drives well and shifts smoothly. The
headliner was reupholstered and isn't sagging anywhere and the interior is
generally clean although the dash has the usual c900 cracks. New windshield in
great shape. The car came from Montana originally and is very clean and
rust-free. Slight collision damage on the front left fender (pictured) that
isn't really noticeable, otherwise completely straight. Original paint isn't bad
considering the age and shines up nicely. Would make a great daily driver or a
fun candidate for a 16v turbo swap. Please call, text or email for more info.
Car is located in Broomfield, CO (about 45 minutes from DIA). More pictures
available upon request. Thanks, Bryan
- 1993 Saab 900 S (Posted 8/17/2016) SOLD
Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 95K Price: Best Offer
Selling my '93 900 S reluctantly. Very clean engine bay and interior. Non-smoker, upholstery in great shape, no cracks on dash, headliner puffy in a couple of spots where detailer used a shop vac. Brakes, runs and drives perfect. Serviced regularly with invoices for maintenance and repairs from '99. This car has been garaged for half a year and for 2 thirds of its life. No rust but has a few small scratches and a small ding on the rear door, just a few cosmetics. The AC needs to be re charged, the switch for the dome light needs a little TLC and it is missing a wiper from one front headlamp. Everything else works and moves as it should, including heated seats, wipers, windows and lights (other than the dome light, with switch). This is a solid, comfortable and reliable car with miles to go... I have 4 snow tires with 95% tread on wheels with the Saab trim.
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo 3 Door Hatchback (Posted 8/1/2016) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 160,000 Price: $6500
This is an excellent example of a 1993 Black c900 Turbo with the desirable, beautiful and like new buffalo grey interior and the even more desirable 5 speed transmission - the perfect setup. All original, with the stereo being the only upgrade. The OEM radio is available. This car has been pampered. Any issue was immediately resolved. Preventative and scheduled maintenance was religiously done by SAAB techs. Everything is in working order. The headliner is near perfect. The body is straight, in excellent condition, no dents or bumps. The paint is solid and shines brilliantly. This car was in Oregon prior to coming to Virginia and there is zero rust/paint bubbles and zero surface rust anywhere on this vehicle. The original engine has 160k on the clock. There are no fluid leaks and the engine pulls strong, with the turbo boost into the red. The car tracks straight and all of the wheels and tires are in great shape. The dash is cracked. However, this is the perfect car to start with, very little effort would be needed to bring this example to concours condition. All of the service records since 08/2000 are available.
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition (Posted 7/22/2016) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 160,000 Price: $7,800 Firm
I’m selling an extremely rare 1993 Saab 900 Turbo CE - one of 314 cars made. 2 door hatchback, black with tan leather, 5 speed, original stereo with new speakers and amp. It has just under 170K miles on it and it is probably in as good condition as any car that has all original parts and components. It runs like a top and has loads of punch. I drive the car weekly. It needs no major repairs. It has a few very minor cosmetic blemishes, but is really a beautiful daily driver or weekend fun car. All features are here:
http://www.saabce.com/1993CE.htm. Positives of note: brand new premium new tires, headliner is flawless, recently tuned, garage kept, seat springs are solid, sounds like a dream, extremely clean, turbo punches as well as any 900 turbo I've ever driven, no known engine or mechanical issues. Minor issues of note: a few very minor leather seat blemishes, a dime sized ding on the hatch back, some rust on the underside, a few small cracks on the original dash, headlight wipers have never worked, loses a drop of oil a week. I am the second owner. All of the work I've had done on the car has been completed by Mile Hi Automotive (Official Saab Service Center), Denver’s premier vintage Saab repair shop.
