Disconnecting the lower radiator hose from the radiator.

• Jack up the front of the car and place on jackstands.
• Place a suitable container under the car.
• Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator by loosening the lower hose clamp. About 3 gallons of coolant will drain out.

  Disconnecting the top of the lower radiator hose from the water pump on top of the engine.

• Disconnect the top of the radiator hose from the water pump on top of the engine and remove the hose completely by pulling it towards the radiator.
• Install the 16V lower radiator hose. Use new clamps if necessary.
• Top up the coolant with fresh antifreeze and distilled water, check for leaks.
• Remove the jackstands and lower the car to the ground.
