Long deal is the 9-3 Linear lease.... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Mon, 20 Dec 2004 11:35:16 In Reply to: 9-3 Linear Purchase?, Brian, Sun, 19 Dec 2004 17:30:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Even if you weren't considering leasing, the way to go is with the lease. It's not a huge improvement, like a remaining 2004 9-3 Aero, but it's still an additional $500 incentive combined with a super cheap money for the lease. Put's you about $2k ahead of the purchase after three years, plus all the cash flow, option to purchase or not, gap protection, and sales tax advantages. Then you can buy it at the end of the lease.
The $229 advertised lease is historically an all time low for a 9-3. And the car has never been better. It's amazing to drive the reigning king of the compact sport sedans, the 325, back to back with a 9-3 Linear. The Saab offers many significant head to head advantages and for me even handles better, supposedly the BMW's forte.
