A European vacation and a new car, two of the most memorable things in life.

It's pretty straightforward. Order the car at least two months in advance. Pay for it 30 days before delivery. Saab might even finance it for you lately if you're not in California I hear, otherwise you must usually pay cash. You get a 9% discount, less the $720 transportation fee, and a $2,000 travel allowance mailed back to you two weeks before delivery. So it's 10% ish plus $2k, and very good deal.

Drop the car off and expect delivery at your local Saab dealer in 6-8 weeks.

Do take the factory tour and the Saab Museum tour in Trollhattan. One of the big bene's of European delivery is having your own car to travel with in Europe, but you say you're just picking it up and dropping it off? Gothenberg near Trollhattan is a wonderful European city and Copenhagen is just 5-6 hours down the coast and the gateway to the Continent.
