than the '03 9-3? I have a '99 9-3SE HOT as well and the interior looks like it was desingned in 1984 and the gaps between the panels are as big as the Panama canal compared to the new. The switch gear in my car is fisher-price like in comparison. The leather was definitely better than my car and I think the carpet was different, but definitely not cheaper, especially when I go to vacuum the carpet in my 9-3 and it moves all over the place...very cheap feeling to me. I also disagree on the guages. My 9-3 looks like a pumpkin patch with the green and orange...it's a little out of date even though it is easy to read. I didn't think the new 9-3 guages were any harder to read, but I didn't see them at night. Maybe because my car is 4 years old and the '03 9-3 is brand new, but I definitely got the feeling that the new 9-3SS had a superior interior.
