This weekend,I replaced the front dash speakers with infinity 31/2 kappas.In the front I took out the Pioneer midrange and tweeter and kept the center speaker(I should disconnect it).With the infinity's you must take the plastic ring off the woofer and also the tweeter so it will fit under the front dash grill. They also contained a large crossover which will fit.Soldered the kappas crossover wires to the main speaker wire(not to each midrange and tweeter). I replaced the rear's with 4 inch infinity kappas,same procedure.

The sound is better but the bass is still a bit booming.The doors seem like they would be a big project.I believe it would require a bigger amp. The rear 6x9 is a sub woofer. That would definitly need a bigger amp.

In my opion this is the cheapest,cost effective upgrade.I am hoping all the speakers are phased correctly!!!!
