I have a 1999 9-3 convertible. The top worked intermittently for a while, getting stuck etc, and now will not start up at all. "Soft top failure" is on the screen. Any ideas what is the likely cause? Also, I live more than 2 hrs from the nearest dealer (who charges at least $200 an hour gauging by my last visit!). Anyone know of a tech in lower Delaware of eastern shore of MD, or even a couple hours of here, that I could have troubleshoot and repair this? What good is a convertible with a top that won't go up!!
