The XM kit for a 9-3 from Saab uses the hard wire aux in port and is not FM modulated. If your 9-3 doesn't have an aux in port the dealer can easily install one for the $35 part and an hours labor.

Our Saab tech Eric is clever. Instead of plugging the XM into the aux in port in the center armrest and hiding the whole thing, he ran the XM output wire out into the interior of the console and then plugged it in so that if you still wanna' use an Ipod the aux in plug is still accessible. Just unplug the XM and plug in the Ipod.
