Nice photos. So Caarma is putting 235's on what looks like 2004/2005 Aero wheel, the 17 x 7 inchers. I'm a bit chicken and I thought 235's where a bit too wide for 7 inch wide wheels and that 7.5 are needed (like the 2006 Aero). At least, this is what I was taught when I worked in a garage years ago doing simple things, like changing oil, tires, and sweeping the garage floor (i.e. "never put a tire that is more than 2 inches wider than the wheel....and 235 mm divided by 25.4 mm/inch equals 9.25 inches which by the old rule would mean you need a 7.25 inch wheel or round it off to 7.5 inches).
1. Anyone disagree with using 235/45-17 on 17 x 7, not 17 x 7.5?
2. Is the increased turning radius in a 2006 Aero due to adjustments to accomodate a 7.5 inch wide wheel? Or is it just because it is lower and that changes something?
