Searched the posts, but didn't see anything that might address my question. Here in the past month or so I have noticed that my gas mileage has dropped like a rock. Instead of getting around 26 mpg like I usually do in the summer's with the A/C, I'm getting around 21 mpg. Also I have noticed that I have no where near the power I use to have. There have been many time when I have the gas petal pinned to the floor and the car just won't go. This past weekend I was in the car with my fiance and I was yelling at the car to try to get it to move from a red light. It takes about 2-3 seconds before the turbo kicks in and the car will do anything. Called the service manager at the local Saab dealership and he said it was due to the ethnol blended gas we have here in Texas. Could this be the case? Not crazy about having a 30K car with a four cylinder that gets about the same gas milage as my fiance's SUV.
