Got my DRL's turned off, first time the fogs did not work. Took car back and then they fixed the fogs but turned the DRL's back on. ... :-(

Third time a few months ago I appealed to the service writer and offered to pay if that is what would get them excited about it (they refused). They muddled through the Tech II arrangement and finally got it figured out. Only caveat is the fog lamps are switchable on/off regardless of headlight switch position or even with high beams. This is fine with me. To be honest, I don't think they really wanted to disable the DRL's but I'm glad it all worked out. I felt strongly enough about it that if they couldn't/wouldn't I'd probably not buy another SAAB (this is my third).
