If you're talking about E85, that's subsidized by the US Gov't, the real cost isn't lower than regular gasoline (or at least it's close). But if you're talking about E10 (10% ethanol blend), that's all over now and is the "regular" gas here in New England. You shouldn't run your Saab on E85 without making modifications to it, but E10 is fine, and won't affect the warranty at all. I don't know what would happen if you ran E85, but I would bet it would void your warranty. I haven't head anything about Saab making a flex fuel car, but since the company is part of GM, maybe?
