Have the same car, 2003 Vector and had the same thing happen 3 or 4 times in a row while driving one day 2 months ago. Unsure exactly what triggered it but what I did was just push lock then unlock while car running and it stopped it briefly. After I parked my car and shut off the car this issue has never happened again. Also another day had my air conditioner not work for one day but suddenly the next day it worked again. I think my battery was going bad that might have caused this issue. Couple months later my battery kept dying if I left anything on without the engine on so I got it checked out a battery tester. Come to find out the battery was dead so bought another one. Only problem is I didn't realize saab would replace my battery for free under warranty.
