It's not your imagination, shifting in my '06 SC Aero 6sp has become notably more stiff also from new! Only 1,700 miles on the clicker. I'm planning on the dealer looking into it. Anyone else with experience on this? I'll let everyone know if the dealer helps! I'm actually amazed with the lack of dealer mechanic training on the new 9-3's, they have had zero since the introduction. This dealer is the largest in the entire Rocky Mountain Region! It doesn't seem a problem to them, they say, it's a SAAB, and we know SAABS! In fact one of their best just replaced a '06 V6 motor in a SS, thrown rod. No cause was identified, the blown motor will be investigated by SAAB. Factory warranty replacement. Glad it was replaced for their customer free!
