Failed attempt at upgrading the factory sound.

I just poured a ton of money into the coffers of a local, high-end audio shop with the goal of improving the sound on my '06 Aero. I didn't like the factory settings, the fact that the sound was "front loaded" and inability to use the fader to send power to the rears. Anyhoo...we installed new speakers in the door and dash (disconnected the center), removed the rear and installed a pair of 3-ways in its place. Then, we added JL Audio's Cleansweep that filters the factory's settings, levels the eq, and sends out a "clean" signal to a new amp (also installed). My aftermarket XM commander was installed directly to the amp.
Disaster. I have to fiddle with a new amp toggle/gain button to get volume out of the radio and XM, I have to toggle it on to get turn signal and rear park assist sound, no sound comes out of the new rear speakers w/ the radio or cd, XM works on all speakers (but sounds exactly the same), white noise eminates from the speakers when everything is off, and the list goes one. Anyone else with similar problems? This shop does a lot of high end work on exotic cars and they were stumped by the Saab.
