I have a 2000 9-3se with 65K and a brand new (rebuilt) engine, but I am now thinking of going new. I had actually decided to jump, but have not had very good luck picking up a 2006 SC with the options that I wanted.
The point is, I am just looking toward the new car because of 1) the incredible incentives and 2) I am a bit gun-shy of any possible repair costs on the 6 year old.
True, the engine does have a 1 year warranty, and it should be fine for many years to come. However, the lure of a brand new ride has me mesmerized.
