Saab Owners beware. On my 2003 9-3 Linear I had the following problem.

"Code P0411 - Secondary air injection system incorrect flow." Check valve has failed. Because of this valve failure, the SAI pump has failed because of condensation and water that flooded it and flooded the air filter which, in colder climates will freeze over causing very poor mileage.

Part # 12791285 SAI Pump check valve $87
Part #12791957 SAI Pump $305
Part # 90470423 SAI Pump Check Valve Gasket $1.90
Part #12786800 Air Filter $24.70
Total $418.60 which is only covered on the 5-star (or most expensive) warranty.
Labor was $249.80 for a grand total of $697.15.

There have been many of these pumps failing according to our Saab dealer. By rights, SAAB should have a recall to prevent this problem.
